Everything was packaged well (lids taped on, sauce servings with lids, wrapped in cling film. The food was tasty. While I was not much more than 5 minutes back to the hotel, the egg rolls were soggy. The sweet and sour sauce for them was very good, great flavor and not overly thick. I asked for the curry to be hot, but not too hot, it was pretty mild. Definitely worth giving it a shot when you're looking to switch things up. Like most of PV, it was good and it was spendy (about 1,400 MXD for 2 mains, combination fried rice and 3 pork egg rolls + 1 lemonade).

Then for our entrees, we had the black cod and the Chilean Seabass. Both presentations were mouthwatering and the fish were extremely fresh, extremely flavorful and flaky. They came with bowls of steamed white rice and a choice of two soy sauce variations. The citrus variety was my favorite. We had amazing cappuccinos from scratch made for us. I tried the pesto salmon, and while the flavors were delightful, the salmon was slightly overcooked. The tempura was a standout--crispy, light, and not at all greasy. The bruschetta was also delicious. They have a huge menu and plenty to explore if you're staying for a while. Note: they are closed on Tuesdays! We were bummed about that, but happy to have had it one night during our stay!

At 8:00 I called our waiter over and politely asked if our entrees were near. I was assured they were. At 8:30, I caught his attention and asked (with much frustration) what was going on. At 8:45 (2.5 hours after ordering), I told him to cancel our entrees and bring the check. At 9:00 pm we received our food. I first told him to take it back, but then relented. THREE hours after arriving. It's not the miss, it's the response. No one seemed to care at any point. The GM or chef didn't show up with an apology. No entrees were comped. This also happened to us last Valentine's Day when they were swamped. I told them I would never be back and promptly cancelled our reservations for today, Valentine's Day 2026. We have friends visiting over the next months and have cancelled plans with them as well.

The rolls are loosened, and the taste is bland. I ordered several things looking for something I could like but at the end my stomach was full of tasteless things. The talpico was just white water with sugar. The owner, always there, looks happy but he is on the wrong direction for the business. The service is really good, but the food not.
