Have never been on an airboat tour but booked at this location because of its proximity to Sarasota compared to other options. Price seemed very comparable to other options. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the booking experience and throughout the tour. Throughout our tour our guide made an effort to show off the power and maneuverability of the airboat. Experiencing the quick turns and ability of the airboat to go through different terrain was very fun. Our tour guide even stopped multiple times in an attempt to find manatees or gators (to no prevail). This is my reasoning for the 4 stars as our entire purpose for booking the airboat tour was to see animals and primarily gators (the only animals we saw were some birds, many of which you can see throughout Florida for free). I know with wild animals there is no guarantee on seeing anything but I would also expect that when paying $90 for 2 people that the tour would involve more than some fun moves and birds. I would have absolutely paid $50 for 2 people on the airboat adventure because of the experience and how hard our tour guide tried to make it fun. The price of $90 is just too much for me when you don't see anything. Would have rated 5 Star had we seen the wildlife that they advertise you can see on the tour. read more

We had a super fun Seminole Wind AirBoat tour this weekend. The communication and reminders about our upcoming tour were much appreciated. Captain Dave was absolutely wonderful. He's a wealth of information and passionate about the river, nature and alligators. Captain Dave was engaging and knew just how to keep multiple ages entertained. The tour was family friendly. Our group consisted of a set of grandparents, children (ages 9, 13, 16) and 1 adult. The boat holds 6 people comfortably, was well-maintained and ear protection was supplied. We saw lots of alligators, learned interesting facts and enjoyed cruising along the river. It was just the right amount of speed, twists and turns. The four of us took a trip with Captain Dave yesterday and we had a great time! Captain Dave was knowledgeable and entertaining, and his life-long experiences on the Peace River created an informative and fun experience for us all. Questions were encouraged and responses were straight forward and from the heart; it was clear Captain Dave loved his picturesque river. Even though we only saw a couple of gators because of a sudden change in weather, Captain Dave was always at the edge of his seat and trying to find some for us. The biggest we saw was probably 5 feet long! These guy where great. Very receptive to any questions I had. The smaller boats, while having to break are party up, allowed us to explore some areas the other larger boats seemed to be avoid. We saw alligators big and small, even some babies. The kids loved that. We made a number of stops for our Cpt to talk about various elements of the environment, not just the gators although he had a lot to say about them also. My three year old daughter and eight year old son both loved the whole experience. Even more importantly it was a wonderful time for my 75 year old mother. She has some mobility issues, Cpt Dave was helpful and accommodating and made sure she was comfortable. This was a great value and fun family experience. read more

The experience was fantastic. Captain Dave gave us a wonderful airboat experience. We had three grandkids with us. He had the kids grinning when he did fun maneuvers with the boat. He introduced us to Honey, a momma alligator guarding her nest. Kids took in every word Captain Dave said about Honey. He grew up on the Peace River and shared many memories of his youth. His knowledge of the area and his stories created a fun and educational trip. What an amazing experience! We were really worried about not being able to take our airboat ride on the fact that it had been storming on and off. Captain Dave definitely did not mind driving us around in the rain and definitely accommodated us by providing towels for comfort. This trip was definitely more than I was expecting and I would highly recommend giving this trip a try. we saw many gators, an iguana and just many pretty sights of the area. Amazing airboat ride! I have been on the Everglades airboat ride tours several times, and this ride on the Peace River was even better! We saw more wildlife than I have ever seen in the Everglades - several alligators (incl baby alligators), manatees, birds, etc. Captain Colton was very friendly and knowledgeable - a great guide! Even the girl in the ticket booth was outstanding. I will definitely be recommending this tour and will be taking visitors on it again. Bonus is that it is only 40 minutes from Cape Coral/Fort Myers, and you can have lunch at Nav-a-gators! read more

What a fun and educational tour! Captain David brought us through the Peace River as only someone who truly appreciates it can. He didn't hold back with the airboat and let us experience what It could do on land and the water. We also experienced the quiet nature of a secluded area of the river and it was breathtaking. He fielded questions and gave us insight we wouldn't have thought to ask. Both him and his wife are super nice people. I left thinking I really need an airboat in my life. Oh! Our family of 4 had an airboat tour with Seminole just last week. We were a little concerned when no one was there at our start time, and we hadn't received a call. Fortunately it was sorted out and when Captain Dave arrived we had a wonderful time. He is super knowledgeable and friendly, and a real pro at driving his airboat. Not only did we see a few elusive gators, but we had one heck of a ride, that left us all smiling for the entire day. So much fun and very educational. The scenery on this boat ride is beautiful. We saw lots of gators and wildlife. The captain grew up on this river so he had a lot of information to share. My past experience with airboats was just about a fast ride doing donuts on the water. This was so much better. We still got a great, fun ride but saw so much more along the way. We are 40+ year Floridians and have taken 4 airboat tours over the years......This was the best!! Captain Henry narrated the tour pointing out wildlife and gators that we would have missed. This tour takes you back to the "Olde Florida" country setting where tons of wildlife and gators still exist in abundance. The meandering bayou's and back waters of the Peace River is breathtaking!! This was an awesome trip. The captain knew a lot about the area. Stopped the boat and showed some things and explained. Went back when we saw or thought we saw gators. This was the first time for my folks and they had the best time. This was many rides for me on many different charters and was the best so far. Price was right and the time was supposed to be an hour and the captain was in no hurry. We stayed out prob about an hour and half. captain Dave was great. my husband and I took two 16 year olds for a ride with Capt. Dave. Capt. Dave put on a show for them and actually managed to get a couple of gasps and smiles from them! although not the bes time of the year to see gators, Capt. Dave managed to find a couple cruising in the river as well as "Honey" and her nest of eggs for her next litter (?). What a great ride with Colton. The trip up and down the peace river. The waterways that are tucked in and beside the river. The wildlife. Gators , Birds. This was a really fun day. We took the boat tour and then had lunch at the Nav-A-Gator Grill. We have had a lot of rain lately, so the canal water was higher than usual. So we didn't see as many gators as we had hoped. But the boat ride itself was an absolute hoot! We love anything "old Florida" and this is the epitome of Old Florida!
