Thanks Bruce and Kim for taking us out on the bay and giving us some historical facts about the area. We did the nature tour around noon. We saw many types of birds such as pelicans, egrets and ospreys. We also saw dolphins but mannnn are they quick! My advice is to just enjoy the scenery. Don't spend all your time trying to snap a pic at the risk of missing out on the true beauty of it all.....Didn't see any manatees :-( Great tour! read more

We had a fun but relaxing tour with Captain Nick. We saw a manatee and a dolphin playing in the water. Nick got us close to watch them but not so close as to scare them away. He was entertaining but knew when to let the water and scenery take the lead. Definitely recommend. read more

Had a nice evening out with Captain Nick at the helm of the boat. He was knowledgeable about the area, explaining things about the bay--we were curious about a sailboat on its side. He had funny quips and made everyone part of the trip- asking where folks were they were from and included the one kiddo on our tour by teaching him about boat captains in a playful dad-spirited manner. We saw 2 dolphins while we were out, not without trying, as the weather was threatening to storm. Despite the cloudiness, we had a beautiful sunset and pleasant ride around the area. There is a commode on board, which featured a surprise "guest" that Capt. Nick calmly and humanely returned to land without incident. The tour included music--a nice mix for a variety of tastes. Definitely take a beverage and snack or meal because it is every bit of 2 hours. Another reviewer mentioned the seating, so bring a towel or cushion to sit on- there are wood bench seats that may be uncomfortable if you need padding. For kids- snacks are a must. For tourists: don't wait until your last day to do the tour; you get to see nice sites around the key that you might not otherwise visit. Bring your lighthearted curiosity, remember that the animals have their own agendas that don't match ours, and enjoy the cruise. Would do this again next time I visit. read more

Relaxing night on the water! Scenic and peaceful! Reasonably priced. Plenty of room. We were able to stop and watch the dolphins play!

Captain Jim made our sunset boat tour both fun and educational. He was full of factoids about the local wildlife (birds and plants especially) and knew exactly where the dolphin activity was. We saw dozens of dolphins and often stopped the boat alongside them to watch them play. His music mix was just our taste - James Taylor, Kenny Chesney, Grateful Dead, among others - which made the drive out to the Gulf that much more relaxing. The sunset was gorgeous, and we arrived back at the dock just as night fell - perfect timing. Thanks for making our babymoon in Englewood extra special! read more

What a nice 2 hours- I've lived in Florida since 83 and was expecting a "get you money" deal. It's not. It was a pleasant and not over done educational trip with a knowledgeable and good hearted guy who loves his country and his job. We went on a sunset cruise with hopes to see some dolphins. We had zero expectations though. We just wanted to enjoy the water and my three year old was really excited about being on the boat. After leaving the dock it probably took us 10 minutes and we had our first dolphin sighting. The whole two hours they were jumping, playing, swimming all around our boat. Almost like they were putting on a show for us. It was awesome. My son had a blast. Our party was the only ones on the boat, so that was a plus. Nick was our captain and was great! He was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell he really enjoyed being on the water. He let my son "drive" the boat and a wear a captains hat. We took a cooler with some drinks, which was great. We had a party of 5 adults, paid $35 per person for a sunset cruise. No one bothered telling us we wouldn't be able to see the sunset because the ocean was too ruff that day, we had to stay in the bay. They circled us around in lemon bay for a few hours then back to the dock. If you have kids I definitely recommend this tour because our captain let all the children have a turn driving the boat. If you have only adults in your group, I suggest finding another tour company. read more

Saw several Dolphin pods, lots of bird species and possibly a sea turtle. I'm prone to sea sickness and it was a slightly windy day, but the catamaran was so smooth I didn't feel sick at all!
