Since I am always early I got there at 12:40. I usually park myself but because I have a wonky foot I used the valet parking. I waited one minute for the attendant to come by and take my phone number and Text me my parking ticket. I went inside and checked in at the imaging desk and they took my phone number to send me a text message when they were ready to register me. I was told to take a seat in the lobby. I had just settled in when I got the text message that Rebecca was waiting to check me in! Rebecca scanned my drivers license, insurance card, & the palm of my hand. Then she had me sign some legal mumbo-jumbo and told me to go back and wait to be called for my x-ray. I had barely gotten settled again in my seat when I received the text message to see Amber to go get my foot x-rayed! Amber escorted me to the x-ray room took three quick x-rays of my foot and then gave me a free bottle of water and showed me to the door. The valet had just gotten done parking my car. I didn't even have to show him my ticket number. He went and got it. I waited one minute and then I was back on the road! Entire time spent in the Lansky Pavillion 15 minutes! I was back on the road before 1pm!

I had to move mountains to make it work. I was told to show up 15 mins in advance for my 8am appt so when I showed up the doors were locked. The kind lady who works the desk told me they open their doors at 8am and then we joked about the communication break down from one hand to the other. Then the X-ray equipment did not work. What was worse is they knew days prior but did not call me to reschedule. I would not be so upset if I did not have to juggle the calendar of others including my 90 year old mother with Alzheimers. I left and called another radiology organization to schedule my mammogram. Its too high risk to go here when they have old equipment that does not work. The staff was very kind and apologetic.

Unfortunately, I ended up having a pretty severe allergic reaction to the oak pollen and found myself unable to breathe, with extremely severe congestion and my throat basically closing up anytime I tried to eat. I visited the Pasadena Urgent Care at 7217 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach, FL, where I saw Dr. Michael E. Murray. It was a few hours away from the time my flight back to Texas was scheduled, and Dr. Murray did a phenomenal job of quickly diagnosing me and sending my prescriptions to a local Publix that was on my route to the airport. They were out of injectable steroids in the office, so I was prescribed three meds. Diagnosis was quick, but I already knew what it was, so I appreciated how efficiently this office operated to ensure I was able to make my flight. I was absolutely miserable on my flight home, but after 24 hours on the meds, I'm already feeling remarkably better. They asked that I call in a few days to let them know how I'm feeling, and it really did seem like they genuinely were invested in me feeling better. Thank you so much! One thing to note - they do not accept insurance so you will need to separately submit. I paid $150 out of pocket, but they gave me all the paper to send to my insurance for reimbursement.

Excellent Care at Bardmoor BayCare HealthHub…read more Since July 2023 I have received excellent care at the BayCare HealthHub - Bardmoor in their Medical Imaging, Laboratory, and Emergency Departments. It all exceeds my expectations. Without exception, the doctors, nurses, technicians and support staff have been thoroughly skilled, kind, caring and efficient. I could not imagine better care. They all deserrve TEN stars. They patiently answer all my questions and explain everything in terms I understand. They provide timely test results to both me and my primary health care provider. It is easy to make appointments and I have never had to spend more than ten minutes in a waiting room. The entire facility is immaculate and very well maintained. I was surprised to learn that it is approximately 17 years old. It looks brand new. Added amenities are the Deli and Gift Shop. Delicious food and coffee, lovely unique gifts, all at reasonable prices. Also plenty of free parking. I am grateful that I live near such a fine hospital and plan never to go anywhere else unless referred by BayCare HealthHub - Bardmoor.
