I love the facility; it is clean, secure, and convenient. The day before I had to fly back to the Bay Area, my daughter left her long board outside the storage door and they were able to locate it. I was not able to return before the office closing time, however they left the board with the security person who immediately greeted me and returned the board so that I can store it for the summer. I rented from them and was very specific in my request; " I need a unit that is drive up". To ME…read morethis means I can drive up to a door and have easy access in order to load heavy objects. The young man first said they didn't have anything, then said they had ONE 5x 5 unit. "so it's drive up?", I asked to clarify because he had, had a little bit of an attitude about it, He looked at me like I was three- headed and said yes. I thanked him, paid and made sure to verify again that my contract says I have to exit by 10 pm ( not 24 hours access which was what I preferred and was advertised). I show up two days later at 8 pm. Since it was a Saturday, the office would b closed until Monday. I pulled out my little " this is ur unit HERE" map and proceeded to drive in circles trying to understand where my unit door was. I finally realized 20 minutes later that my " unit door" was marked confusingly because it was ACTUALLY a door that led to a short narrow hallway with other units. That meant I had to CARRY my heavy items down the hallway to my unit, NOT pull up to a door with EASY access. I was so angry by then I couldn't see straight. I gave notice a week later and left. Apparently I was unclear with my needs, as ALL units to them are " Drive- UP".

That was a bonus but the gentleman signed me up was very helpful at the time. Unfortunately it turned out that I was never signed up for the bonus sign in and now it comes time for paying the third month rent with the late fee. Denny the manager of secure it self storage was not helpful at all. If I had the chance to do it over again I would not rent from secure it self storage. I would like to think that the proper thing to do for a business is to make it right for the customer. Thank you for nothing Denny.
