The front desk checked me in and I only waited a few minutes to go back to the waxing room. The little lobby was clean and welcoming with product on the walls. The wax room was very comfortable and they had a nice spot for my purse. This may seem weird but I really appreciated that when Kati was bent over me waxing my lip and eyebrows she smelled clean and fresh. Nothing is worse than someone with smelly hands or breath that close to you. I have had smokers before close to me and nothing is worse than the smell. Kati went over everything with me when she did the wax and answered my questions. She was friendly and professional. She walked me out to the lobby when she was done and showed me a product she recommended. I bought the Groom - brow building serum as I complained about my sparse brows and not liking to fill them in all the time. I have made another appointment with Kati in a month to do another upper lip wax and am going to buy the 3 pack of Fast Facial Youth Wax.

She did a HORRIBLE job, and didn't style out my hair, so i didn't know it until I got home and really got a good look at it. Myra offered to fix it and I initially rescheduled with her, but after thinking about it, I texted her and asked her to be $100 percent honest if she thought she could fix it and she never responded. I ended up scheduling for a color correction at a different salon because I can't trust this girl. I left a message on the Salon retro site to Kathy (I believe she's the owner) and got no response, so I called the Salon and Kathy answered. She said "Myra said you loved your hair when she was done" and I told Kathy, Myra didn't style it out. In fact, after thinking about it, I think she did that on purpose because she knew it was a sloppy job and she was ripping me off, but she told me the reason she wasn't styling it out was because she already did a lot to my hair and didn't want to overdo it. I should have known right then and there she was full of s#$t, because I have never been to a Salon and paid that kind of money and left without dry, styled hair. If you took the time to read all this, please take my advice and don't risk going to this place. What a waste of time and money. In response to Kathy's comment: ummm... yeah... I said all that in my review, but I also said I opted not to go back to her because I don't feel confident she would be able to fix it. Not worth the risk. Also, why you commenting on my review?
