I got home to find my $30 toenails are already chipped. And I still have patches of hair on my legs after my $50 wax. Price came to be $150 and it took 4 hours for it all. He asked if I wanted to tip 27% and I said no do 20%. The owner is nice but this place is not worth the price for me. I've had way better work done for half of the price. Don't waste your money here! I walked in and said I wanted a basic pedicure. It's advertised as $20. Ok, sure. While I am soaking I am handed a water logged laminated menu of options. I see one that says callous and dead skin removal $5. That's the main reason I went, my heels were dry and my cuticles were overgrowing my life. I asked him if it was the liquid callous removal stuff. I've had that before and it's like some sci-fi horror flick, your dead skin basically turns into a gelatinous material and slides off. It's amazingly effective (and probably bad for you). He said yes. Ok, I am not going to hold it against him that it wasn't the stuff from Terminator. Language barrier and all that. He went at my feet with what looked like a cheese grater (the flat kind with a handle). I have some red spots where the skin on my feet were grazed in the frenzy. My son was with me, and to his credit the guy was very nice to him. Kiddo said he needed water so I asked if they had a water fountain. The guy went in the back and brought out a cold water. I thanked him and had my son thank him. As I was walking up to pay he yelled something about the water in English, but when he wasn't understood he switched to Vietnamese. I was thinking "oh, I guess they're charging me for the water." I figured it'd be an extra buck. That's fine, gotta make a living. Well, I get up to the front and she tells me it's $30. I wanted to ask if she was sure, because I only got the basic plus the add on. But, of course, I chickened out. She shakes her head when I bring out my card and says they only take cash. Argggh! But, conveniently they have an ATM. Wonderful! Then I will get to pay a fee so that you can under report to the IRS. Stick it to the man! I guess the bottle of water was $5. The ladies here are very nice and seem helpful. My daughter asked if they can do matte colors. The lady said we can do any color you want in matte and kept saying "we can do anything you want" After my daughter had her nails polished they were not matte. I asked my daughter if she changed her mind cause her nails were not matte. The lady then walked over in a huff and said I didn't do matte because that color wouldn't look good in matte. I was in the area, checked Yelp and decided to give them a try. They do not accept credit cards. They have a ATM in the corner, with a service fee. I asked for a basic pedicure. The gentleman handed me the pedicure menu and I knew I had some callus, so asked for the salt scrub, I specifically asked five dollars for salt scrub, he said yes. He went on the do the sugar scrub, salt scrub and some odd green stuff. Yes, I should have said wait stop but I had never been there before and some salons do complimentary add ons and thought if I had know wouldn't have asked for salt scrub. I was contemplating gel nails but not even offered to me, I get maybe a language barrier but I go to different salons all the time and never had this problem before. I stopped going here once they installed an ATM machine and only started accepted cash and failed to mention it when I booked my appointment. They nickel and dime you and they are rude. I went back in to get a fill recently, because the place I normally go to was closed. She started working on my nails and suggested that I need to do a whole new set (of course). I told her I didn't have time today. Two of my nails were broken and needed a new tip but the others were fine. I told her that before she started, and she didn't say a word. Then her story changed and I would need to pay extra to fix the broken ones on top of what I was paying for the fill. I politely told her the other places I have gone to have never charged me for repairs with a fill. She straight out called me a liar! "She just couldn't believe that, finds that hard to believe... Etc". I'm so mad at this point that I tell her just to take them all off and I'll just get a manicure to fix the mess underneath from the artificial nails. I of course stayed polite and classy, but inside I just wanted to leave. She ended up charging me $15 to remove the nails that took her 2 mins to take off, plus the price of the manicure. I wasn't surprised when I was handed a menu,but, I was surprised to see I had to pay $5. for them to sand my calluses..that is something I would get with a regular pedicure. Then she asked about either a salt or a sugar scrub..the difference...the salt one is just for feet..sugar for the legs and feet..$5. each..I said just do the sugar..so, $30.00 total. Don't bother with either. Three minutes total,for the scrub, using both her hands on one each of my legs at the same time for the scrub and then the callus job was worthless. I get a pedicure and a wax each time I go in. It's great with the exception of them always trying to sell me the spa pedicure and callus remover. I don't mind paying for them except the callus remover usually makes them smooth while I'm in the shop, but when I leave my heels are white. So I just get a basic. When I get home I usually just do a scrub with pumice and my feet are like new. The lady that does my eyebrows is amazing!! She is usually the one that does the designs for my pedi as well. I walked through the door and immediately felt unwanted. I had made an appointment, the place was empty, but for some reason they were in a huge hurry for me to leave. The paint color I had picked out was applied sloppily in two obviously uneven coats with my original nail color showing through. The nail lady almost applied the top coat before I stopped her and demanded a third to even things out. A manager was called over and the third coat was reluctantly permitted. It was also applied poorly but overall my nails looked better. I could have easily given myself this manicure at home with out feeling as if I was in the way. Sandy and Dustin no longer own this shop. I've been going there for years and went in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no customers in the shop. This is very unusual. Asked where Sandy was and they said she was no longer there. The two young girls said they could do the SNS nails, had me sit down they spoke amongst themselves. Then they came over to me about 10 min later and said they couldn't do those kind of nails that day and I had to come back "next week". Explained I worked out of town and didn't get back in to CG until late. They said I must have an appointment. I told them no and I left. I have been going to this salon for 2 years and have had amazing service from Shelly Tran. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. The ownership of this place is horrid! The female owner is extremely rude and creates a very toxic environment. Yesterday, I made an appointment for services with Shelly. When I arrived, I took some time to chose colors. I wear gel, so the pervious polish needed to be soaked off of my fingers and toes. I chose a design with polka-dots, so this also took some time. All in all, the services took about 1 1/2 hours. As my toes were drying, the owner approached me and said, "You've been here too long. You been here 2 hours." She ripped the sponge toe dividers from my feet and shoved my foot into my flip flop. I grabbed my other flip flop from her hand and told her I would do it myself. She said, "you been her too long. You go now". I have never been treated so rudely! As I left, I could see her yelling at my tech in her native language. I felt so bad for her! She did nothing wrong. There were no other clients waiting. There were other clients receiving service and they witnessed this woman's rude behavior. I paid well for the services I received and did not deserve to be treated so rudely. I will never go to this place again. And that is unfortunate, because I absolutely love Shelly and her work. Good luck Shelly! So sorry you had to endure her tongue lashing. In my opinion, if you own a business, you should be greatful for your clients and treat them Kindly. In general, you should just never treat anyone like that. read more

I had a full set and a fill here. They filed the sides too aggressively so that my natural nail was showing and came apart from the acrylic. When I told them they said it was my nails I said "no I have gotten my nails done for 20 + years. There was also 2 chipped nails before the next fill was due. I had gotten gels.
