I was paired with Miranda and she did a wonderful job. I wanted to go big by cutting a bunch off, but still have a style that was manageable in both straight and curly styles. Went to Saloon Bloom for my first time. Pilar Moore did an awesome art work on my hair. She Colored Conditoned it and also Cut it. I have received so many comliments so far. The people who were there getting hair done were relaxed and seemed to enjoy their experience. The sell the Aveda products there which is very Nice.My hair feels and looks healthy. This is my second winter season in Casa Grande. Last year I anguished over finding a salon and hairdresser that I liked and could stay with. I did lots of research and decided I'd give Bloom a try. I am so very glad I did. Samantha is awesome. My haircut looked great Everytime. Add to the awesome haircut, a scalp massage and hand massage with Aveda products complimentary. samantha is so unprofessional. they had me come in for a consultation and then after my consultation they said they will call me in a week, but never did. i called today january 30, 2024 and they said they will send me a referral byt never did. samantha who is the owner really botched my first hair highlights right before going to california. i went back for her to fix it when i got back. i went back again because she was able to add highlights on my very fine hair, but now i regret the entire experience! they're very expensive. my first time i paid $270. this is my worst experience ever!!! read more

My first visit today - my appointment was with Monique. What a joy! A beautiful clinician that gives wonderful head, neck, shoulder and arm massages before your shampoo. During the wonderful shampoo experience, another lovely head massage as well as a refreshing hair wash. My cut and style was done just the way I like it - the best I've had in the two seasons I've spent here in Casa Grande. While Monique was cutting my hair, another girl was giving me a hand massage. How delightful! The employees here seem to really enjoy what they're doing - there is no rushing you out the door - if you have questions of want to try something like a line concealer, for example, they are more than happy to take the time to try it out on you. I got my hair dyed from dark brown to blonde and it came out perfect!! The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. The conversation is upbeat and entertaining. I have been going to Bloom for 9 years now and I have seen Samantha and her team grow in their skill levels and customer service. This salon offers Aveda products, which I love, and is always a friendly and different atmosphere compared to other salons. Everyone helps with every customer and is constantly working on new skills. You don't just sit in front of a station like in the old days. It's not your average salon and this new location at the mall is just beautiful! They are still getting organized and deciding exactly how and where to lay things out, but it works fine. One thing about Bloom is that it's always busy and fun and I always look forward to being pampered in this bustling salon. Everyone is so friendly and tries to know your name and when you are getting color you get to sit in the middle of the room instead of being stuck at a station or in the corner. I love that. Services here are never rushed, and I always feel like I am getting my money's worth in the time it takes to get color and gloss, followed by a cut and style. It can take hours. Be prepared. They take their time and get it right. Samantha has built quite the following in town and I am constantly recommending this place, tons of my friends go here. I had my hair highlighted at Salon Bloom last week. I have since contemplated whether to do a review or not since it would not be a favorable one. First of all, in my personal opinion, the set up of this salon is far from customer-friendly. The stylists don't have "stations" to keep their blow dryers and product on. I don't know who designed this floor plan but whoever it was clearly wasn't thinking of organization, convenience and customer comfort. I felt like I was in the middle of a 3-ring circus the whole time I was there as I was sitting in a chair in the middle of a room while my color was processing. Secondly, I am 57 years old and in my lifetime, I have never sat for 3 hours for getting my "short" hair highlighted. By the time she got the foil and color on, I then sat for 1.5 hours for it to process. This is a ridiculously long time. My hair looked good color wise but the stylist had no talent for styling short hair. I was pretty much at my wits end and just told her to forget the style.....I was more than ready to get out of there. Thirdly, they charged me $105. Absolutely unacceptable. This was for highlights only....no cut...no trim and no style. This really baffles me because when they were housed in the back room of Slick Tops on Pinal during the remodel of their salon, my highlights were only $85. In a nutshell, I will never go back there and advise all to ask the price of their services before you proceed. I understand it's an "Aveda" salon but nevertheless, it's overpriced and not customer-friendly. read more
