I arrived 30 min early for my apt at 12:30pm, and at 1pm nobody had said anything to me. I am handicap and rely on public transit. I had rode my electric chair from bashes all the way there. At 1pm I left, because I have to make my ride home. Horrible experience and won't be back. read more

LASHONDA Tom is absolutely one of the best hairdressers in Maricopa and I think even in Arizona. I have known her about 10 years. She used to do my daughter's hair for gymnastics competitions. We met at great clips and I have followed her ever since she has fixed my hair more than once when I've had it done elsewhere everything from start to finish is absolutely excellent. I recommend every single person in Maricopa and even out of Maricopa to go see her absolutely so talented and such a beautiful soul. read more

I've been here twice once for a hair cut and once for an all over dye. My stylist was Jessica and she's very friendly and personable. I've had good experiences both times I've been here. Pricing is standard for the area/profession. My hair cut was about $45 and my all over color was $215 both before tip. It's very hard to find a hairstylist who listens to what you want for your haircut and color but Jessica did both and didn't rush through either process. She did a wonderful job on my undercut and touched it up for me when I came in for my color hair process. The color process is $65 for your first bowl and $25 for each bowl afterwards. The salon is small and cozy but busy! My mom and grandma came here during COVID and didn't have as much of a pleasant experience. They had told me some of the salon stylists were talking about getting their gun from the car and they were going to carry it it regardless. I don't know the whole conversation, but I do know it involved politics. I personally don't believe conversations like that are appropriate for a workplace setting, but it's not my business and if I was to hear I probably wouldn't return because I wouldn't feel comfortable. However, I didn't experience any of this so I'm not sure if that stylist is gone or not, but I do recommend Jessica's service! read more

I found this place by accident; scrolling through Yelp. I usually go to Chandler or Gilbert for my hair color and highlights. I really want to support a local salon. I was scrolling through reviews I saw a great review for Jessica. I was able to get an appointment within the week was amazing. Jessica has a great personality and chair side manner. I have very fine hair and a lot of new hair growth. I explained I wanted to take it easy on bleaching my hair. Jessica really listened and I had no breakage; which is amazing my color is beautiful. Top props to Kirsten at Country Stylin' Salon! I was visiting from the valley and called to leave a voicemail just on the off-chance someone might have time for a cut & color. I had a text back within five minutes offering up the next afternoon, which was perfect! In the salon, it's decorated with a modern, comfortable vibe with a welcoming seating area, nicely appointed stylists' stations and spacious, clean rinsing area. As for my personal experience with stylist Kirsten, I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with her skill, professionalism and kindness. I came into the salon and Kirsten's chair with very long (mid-back length), but very dry and damaged hair that I'd been getting by with coloring myself on rare occasions. Needless to say, I had a lot of hair that needed a lot of work. Kirsten was undaunted by the task, discussed what I might or might not be comfortable with cutting off to take care of the dryness; she was very helpful with suggestions while listening to my preferences regarding color. We settled on a very warm, natural darker brown, but at the last moment, I asked her about possibly scheduling time another day to bleach a peek-a-boo streak to color hot pink. Kirsten said she would happily add the pink streak while doing my all over color with no need to make a separate appointment. As Kirsten cut, colored, rinsed, and continued cutting, she was warm and friendly and always concerned with my comfort and happiness. As my hair was finished under Kirsten's hard work, the color is beautiful and the cut looks and feels healthy and light. I've received numerous compliments over the week since my visit to Kirsten and I'll definitely book my next appointment with her! read more

LOVE KRISTEN I came in with blackish brown hair. That had a permanent dye on it. And I wanted to go as blond as possible. I wasn't born yesterday, and this wasn't my first rodeo. I knew I was asking a lot and potentially leaving with straw hair. And this stylist is incredible. She put a million baby highlights and I'm a blonde!
