This isn't a place where you take someone on a first date. It's a bit shabby, plain, a bit like a cheap diner rather than a restaurant. I don't know. Maybe you're dating someone who would love that. It's unlikely (that they'll like the décor, not unlikely that you're dating). What this place is, is good and cheap Malaysian food.
The nasi lemak is supposed to be pretty good. I haven't tried that one, I have only had the beef satay sticks. Seriously, I was impressed. Beautiful peanut taste with such a nice texture. The beef is rump, too. So you don't need to wonder what the mystery meat is when you order beef like you do at some other places I could mention.
The hours that this place operates can be a little on the chaotic side. Quite often I'll drive past and it won't be open. It hasn't bothered me, as it just means I'll stop at Persian Flavours again. Give this place a go. read more
