The main part of the house had a metal roof. There was an addition on the back that had asphalt shingles. There were some leaks where the two met. The metal roof had been put on over an existing asphalt roof and had holes where it had been attached and this allowed water to seep through to the older asphalt roof and caused some damage to the sheeting. They had to remove both metal and asphalt layers. They also replaced some of the sheeting. The whole thing was a mess. Now we have a beautiful new roof and no worries about leaks. The roof looks great and they did a very good job cleaning up the yard after the install.

I would not recommend working with Jeremy based on my experience as a subcontractor…read more Our crew performed several days of framing and repair work on his project, including correcting existing framing issues, roof and fascia repairs, sheeting, garage framing, gable work, blocking, straightening studs, and other work that was requested while we were on the job. We also supplied some materials out of pocket. When it became clear we couldn't complete the remaining work within his requested timeline, we communicated that directly and told him he should bring in another crew so we wouldn't hold up his project. We then requested payment only for the work we had already completed and materials we supplied. Unfortunately, payment for the completed work became a dispute. Our crew still had payroll and expenses associated with the work that was performed, regardless of whether we completed the entire project. If you're a subcontractor considering working with Jeremy, make sure you have a very clear, detailed contract before starting. Spell out exactly what is and isn't included in your price, and require written change orders for any additional work. In our experience, additional items were added to the scope without additional funds being agreed upon. Document everything--scope of work, changes, additional requests, materials, hours, and payment terms. Based on my experience, I would not work with him again. Will update if he pays us or if we take him to small claims
