In the past, I've worked with contractors who made me go to suppliers and purchase the materials for them. That's a big project for people like me who have no idea what they're doing and asking for! I LOVED picking out options with them, then they did the rest. Hassle free, stress free and most importantly good quality work done EXACTLY when they said it would be done. They finished the projects ahead of schedule and work with our changing timelines. Bonnie, pays up close attention to minor details & has them fixed before problems even became noticeable. That's something I appreciate so much. Ryan, took so much of his time taking phone calls and answering questions/or giving me his advice on which products are best. The project was quick, we purchased the house and didn't spend much time in it. We knew we wanted certain things done initially, but as time went on and we spent more time in the house, we added many projects on top of the original requests. We can't think of anything bad to say about Talon and his crew. Timely, courteous, and listened to all the needs of my family. Talon even tried to realign our satellite after they reset it but warning for everybody, you will need to call in advance to get your satellite realigned. Actually, there is one thing we'd like to say, it would be helpful if we would be notified in advance to call our satellite people so they could plan on coming out.

The main part of the house had a metal roof. There was an addition on the back that had asphalt shingles. There were some leaks where the two met. The metal roof had been put on over an existing asphalt roof and had holes where it had been attached and this allowed water to seep through to the older asphalt roof and caused some damage to the sheeting. They had to remove both metal and asphalt layers. They also replaced some of the sheeting. The whole thing was a mess. Now we have a beautiful new roof and no worries about leaks. The roof looks great and they did a very good job cleaning up the yard after the install.

He is a real professional who asked several questions before he came over. He was ready for the job with all the tools he needed and was very pleasant in explaining what went wrong with the equipment. He also freely gave me advice on how to prevent recurrence of the issue. I also asked to check other things with the water system in the basement and he did without a charge. He is an excellent professional and I highly recommend him for the high quality work he provides at a very reasonable price.

I am updating my review, not because of Rockwell but because of one of their subcontractors. For…read moreone reason or other, my heater ("Quality (horsepucky) heating) has gone out every single year without exception. Winter #5, I called another repairman. He kind of scoffed when I mentioned "Quality" and with obvious reasons. So repairman number 1 cleans it all out, gets it running again and says they will order yet another flame sensor. Meanwhile, Greg, who incidentally, has been quite kind through all this, calls Quality to come out. I want someone to get to the bottom of the issue. Twenty years in my condo, never saw a single heating issue. Now I have issues every year, probably due to poor install. So Quality comes out, replaces the sensor that I've already paid $90 via the other company and I get a bill for $89. I pay the $89 but I'm ticked and tell them as much. Then lo and behold, they decide to send a bill to include $80 for the flame sensor!!! I'm livid at this point and call and the creep is flippant and rude as hell having no qualms whatsoever about the additional charges. Rockwell is awesome and I love my home more than I can say. But they definitely need to cut ties with heating company. The company is totally dishonest and greedy.

When I was visiting her before she did her last walk through of the property, her husband had a lengthy discussion with the building Superintendent about a really, really bad drainage problem in their back yard. I listened as this representative of Rockwell GUARANTEED my friend and her husband that Rockwell would take care of the situation BEFORE they actually closed on the house. They trusted Rockwell. I kept telling them that they should never trust contractors....Anyway, they were told that the problem had been fixed, so they closed on the loan. Of course, there would be no way to know for sure until now if they actually did fix it....She forwarded me some pictures of her house as well as her neighbor's house today. She also let me listen to a recording of GREG HANSEN of Rockwell Builders screaming and yelling over the top of my friend as she was trying to simply discuss the issue with him! I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS HEARING! He was condescending, rude, loud and just plain hateful. I am going to post the pictures she forwarded to me. If anyone out there reads this....DON'T PURCHASE FROM ROCKWELL!!! They are extremely kind and nice until you challenge a serious issue. Then they claim that the fine print in the contract negates ANY verbal contract or guarantee they may have made! Shame on them. My friends are the NICEST people I have ever known! This was to be their retirement home. For a company that claims to be so honest and upfront, they sure are frauds!

Once he hit a point in the job where he didn't know how to finish, he made things look good, collected his final payment and then disappeared. Then we discovered all of the horrible dangerous things he left hidden behind a facade of completion. We had to hire another worker to come in and fix and finish. I like the guy. Hated his final product.
