I don't even know how to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for all that PrideStaff and…read moreShani have done for me. There is something truly special and unique about Shani. From the moment we first spoke, she has always been so full care, thoughtfulness, and transparency. You can tell that she's fully dedicated to her job and truly cares. I came to Pridestaff somewhat hopeless and helpless and from that first interaction, Shani renewed my hope ten fold. I have been in the work force for 20 years but never in a corporate office setting. So I understood that I most likely had to start in an entry level position, which generally meant a lower pay. My job search journey prior to Pridestaff left me a little disheartened to be honest. I knew my worth and knew that I could be an absolute asset to whomever I ended up working for. But I didn't know how to fully connect my skills and experience to the jobs I was applying for. I also didn't know what I even was qualified to do. My other main concern was finding an entry level job that would still be financially sustainable. Shani patiently listened to all my fears and concerns. She also listened to all my hopes and aspirations and experiences. And then in a brilliant way, she was able to see in me and pull out of me a part of myself I didn't know existed. She was able to connect all my gifts, skills and experiences, to the positions that would best suit me and allow me to truly shine. She fought so hard for me from day one. Saw my worth, heard my concerns, and would not allow me to settle for less than what I deserved. She was able to connect me with a company that I am beyond thrilled to be a part of. I could never have imagined such a place could want inexperienced me, but Shani spoke so highly of me that the company didn't question taking a chance on me. What Shani found for me is everything I could ever want in a job and more. I've been there since March (and it's now August) and still find myself wondering how I was able to land such an amazing job for an amazing company that supports me in every sense of the word. In all actuality, there is nothing to wonder. Shani saw and understood me. She heard and understood my company. She knew that both the company and I could provide exactly what the other needed. And she was right. And I am grateful every day that I was introduced to Pridestaff and especially to the phenomenal Shani. From the depths of my heart, thank you.

This time round I was required to attend a meeting with an account executive from the WIA (Workforce Investment Act). I personally have never met a more conceded self-centered BI-ATCH in my life! She asked me questions that were personal and in appreciate! Out of the blue she asked me if I had high blood pressure! WTF?? This woman was incredibly abrupt, rude and her behavior unwarranted! At one point she pretty much told me to get outside and get more exercise!! I couldn't believe the friggin' rudeness of this person who represents the tax payers!! Good thing I was smart enough to record our conversation, because I'm still deciding if legal action is warranted!! I personally don't understand how people such as this woman get into such positions! She was pretentious and presumed to know my circumstances!! This woman hasn't a clue what I've been through over the past year and SHOULD NOT be in such a position within the WIA program!

I was told to take a seat down at the computer lab and put in applications online. The exact sorta stuff I could have done in the comfort of my own home or lacking that could be down at my local library which is much closer to where I live and easier to find. I probably could just do that sorta thing at a friends house. I'm convinced this place is a scam, or some kinda front that launders money or something. went back as a joke to play video games and mess around on the computers and they were locked down to the point anything like that would be impossible. But they messed up big time in doing even that. You can't use a flash drive here. meaning if I don't have google drive and I wanted to edit my resume via external media I can't. I can't give this place a bad enough review. I feel like they deserve a negative score and that a 1/5 is too generous. I hope this place goes out of business. If you own a smart phone, tablet, computer of any kind, know a friend that owns such technology and can let you use it, or can ride the simi bus to the library, don't bother coming to this place. It is a complete waste of time. all it will do is leave you feeling cheated and angry

During the first few months I was skeptical of finding placement but my agent Lois was always on the lookout for a position. My work experience and background were niche, however, she did her best to find me potential jobs. In fact, she found several places for me to interview with, but sadly I was overqualified for those positions. I still appreciated her dedication for the search efforts. One place I interviewed at gave feedback that I was a top candidate except they had found a more suitable match for the position. Lois did not forget about me or that opportunity, and when that position became vacant again she immediately called me and encouraged me to take the job. I am now working at an organization that feels like a dream come true, all thanks to Lois' help. For those who have had poor experiences with their agent, I can only assume they sat back and waited for something to fall in their lap. Finding good work also requires follow-up, just like anything else in life we want but do not have.

She then connected me with Maria, who essentially wasted my time. I asked for an explanation of the process, which was extremely confusing. Maria was extremely rude, very confused by my explaining my experience, and then questioned what I really wanted by calling them. She then acted confused when I sent over job postings that told me to contact the number. Extremely unprofessional service, and she accused me of being aggressive when all I did was explain my experience. I explained my experience and sent over my resume, and she said, "No offense, a janitor can do data entry jobs." Keep in mind that I have a master's degree, so this was extremely unprofessional and rude. Do not waste your time with this temp agency; they are not happy with their jobs, as they are there to find jobs for other people. As a recruiter, it should not be hard to review a resume, since your entire job is dealing with them. Listen to the other negative reviews because I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness from any recruiter before, and I have spoken to many professional recruiters who would never be as unprofessional and rude as Maria.
