What she needed was someone who could help her with the therapy she'd been expecting to do for her new knee, but who would also show her the patience and care she needed as she recovered from the unknowns following the second surgery at the same time. This could have been a real challenge, but the folks at Vissers have been invariably kind and caring. It's been a journey, to say the least -- and having good people beside you at every step is essential. This is what we got at Vissers. Everyone we've interacted with at Vissers has been lovely, but particular praise is due to my mom's individual therapist Rena Bissessar, who has pushed her when she needed pushing, been understanding with her when she needed understanding, and gotten her a long way in an astonishingly short time toward being back on her feet again. The Employees are Wonderful! I can Honestly say that going to Physiotherapy Works has changed my life. I thought that I'd never be able to regain the stability that I lost after having multiple knee surgeries. Their Physical Therapists and Interns from UCF are Phenomenal! They took the time to understand my individual needs, then created a program to address it. I've been seen many times for different reasons over the last two years; they've given me the exercises and made sure that I understood how to do them at home using bands and home objects. Their Physical Therapists use their ingenuity when creating a program that can be started at the PT office then transitioned to home exercises with adjustable difficulty.

I'm getting…read morethe therapy from Leonard Mitchell, a doctor in physical therapy, and am very happy even after 2 sessions (and the home exercises) for my adhesive encapsulated shoulder. He warms the shoulder up with an exercise machine then stretches and manipulates the shoulder putting pressure on it before I do a few new exercises. They're very caring and accommodating. I requested a heating pad first to start the warm up and he gladly did that for me. I had previously come to this center and a physical therapist assistant took care of me, Brittany, and she was spot on, too. I'm inspired to do the exercises (and I'm lazy and undisciplined for repetitive exercises) seeing the progress even in a short period. I took some pics, but they're limited because the center protects patients privacy so I was asked to not include patients in the pics, even from behind. I like their professionalism.
