Cathy is a wonderful physical therapist- unlike any I have ever seen previously (and I have seen…read moremany). Her approach is to evaluate not only the area having the problem but your whole body. This approach allows her to find root causes of your pain. She is literally very "hands on" - this allows her to make adjustments that facilitate healing. She follows every session with detailed emails with videos showing exactly what needs to be done to fully resolve your issues. I have seen Cathy for shoulder, neck, foot and most recently hip issues. I am never disappointed and she always helps resolve my issue. A further plus is her extensive knowledge of the body and enthusiastic attitude. I strongly recommend seeing Cathy for any issues you may have.

My knee pain became excruciating over the last year due to a role change at work where I sit more…read morethan normal and the hours were long leaving little time for any activity except on the weekends. Current x-rays show I still have arthritis and it is still mild. I thought I was in for knee replacements and my Orthopedist recommended Physical Therapy. After researching the recommended clinics I chose one that does Chinese Medicine as part of their treatment. I am amazed at the approach this team of specialists takes toward finding and correcting physical problems. Adjustments, acupuncture and targeted stretching and exercises to rebuild the muscles which caused the pain. I do not believe any one of these approaches would have helped alone. The focus of each member of the team is to understand which muscles are causing the issues and focusing their combined treatments on the root cause. I am in week 5 and am so happy to report more and more completely pain free days. Physical Therapy requires commitment and participation from the patient. I am willing to do what it takes to get my life and knees back into shape and it shows. I walked 8 hours at Disney last weekend and the soreness was small. I bowled last night (on a therapy day) and instead of limping around and swelling today, I am only tender. Now that I know how to identify muscles that are not functioning correctly, I can tell where I need to focus my out of clinic work at home. Really wish I knew all this ten years ago, but I am also really glad I made a smart choice in choosing ARC for my treatment. The Mt. Dora team is amazing!

I'll step aside and wait until the other lady is through and I'll speak to her. She never did say anything to the other lady that was working out front with her. They had their own little conversation. Small talk talking about other patients showing files. Never even looked at me, never acknowledged me. The new person never told the other lady why I was there. So I left, I will never go back there again. I was looking so forward to going here. Because when I called the person I spoke to was so nice so reassuring, and then when I get there, the 2 older women up front drop the ball, big time. My advice, if you've got time to be ignored. And sit around then this is the place for you.I don't know about the doctor himself, but I never got past the terrible office experience.
