I had sciatica for almost 10 years now but pregnancy made it so much worse, I went to PT at ProHealth years ago and it was horrible compared to these sessions I just had. I learned not all PT offices are the same that is for sure. Had to put that out there and if you are pregnant or get pregnant and have sciatica, tell your OBGYN you want physical therapy. My doctor was ready to tell me to deal with it for the third trimester and I'm so glad I pushed for help. You don't have to deal with it, pregnant or not.

First, to put my review in perspective, I have been to physical therapy a total of ten times in my…read morelife, so I have a lot of experiences by which to measure this one. I had two rounds of physical therapy here for hip bursitis. I had some reduction of pain and an increase in strength, but still had lingering almost daily pain after the second try here. This clinic was very busy, to the point that I was sometimes one of three patients (to one therapist) at a time. There were also a couple of instances in which my therapist had to conduct an initial evaluation (30 min. or more) during my visit. This was far from ideal, and I felt that this kind of scheduling was unfair to both the patients and the therapists. I even tried scheduling some of my appointments earlier in the day and it did not make much of a difference. I also had a very cursory, disappointing initial evaluation for my first round of pt (with a different therapist with whom I did not work again) which I feel may have led my treatment in an unproductive direction. Overall, I felt less comfortable here than I have at other clinics. It's odd, because the therapists with whom I worked were nice, but somehow the atmosphere here felt more cold and clinical and awkward than other places. I am currently going to a different clinic and I am having success healing my injuries and I feel comfortable there. This experience has taught me that sometimes you have to try a different place and find the therapist that has just the right specialized training for your problems. Don't give up!

I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism of the Vernon location staff. From Aggie, Kristen, and Maureen at the front desk, assistants Tim, Tyler, and Justine, and the physical therapists. I have only directly worked with Rory, with some time with Denise, but you can see how all the PTs treat their patients. All patients are treated with respect in a very friendly, open atmosphere. Personally, I'm thrilled with the effectiveness of my therapy and the responsiveness of my therapist, Rory. I'm supported, encouraged, listened to, and most importantly, I'm healing! The facilities are modern, clean, and well maintained. There is ample parking in a safe location. Having Rein's Deli and a Chinese restaurant right there, as well as a used book store, a consignment shop and a several other shops in the plaza is a plus if you're well enough.

I have outlined the key situations below: Thursday, May 22, 2025 - Cellulitis Diagnosis and Treatment: On this day, my brother Andrew and I noticed that our mother was not feeling like herself. Andrew observed that her legs felt like they were on fire. I immediately informed Dr. King, who briefly examined her and diagnosed cellulitis, but did not provide any further details or explanation. Later that day, another provider confirmed the same diagnosis and began antibiotics, but there was no improvement by the following day. I then requested more aggressive treatment. The provider suggested starting ceftriaxone, but it took over two hours for this to be administered. After that, we saw significant improvement by the next day. (pictures attached) Friday, May 23, 2025 - Bathroom Assistance: While visiting Ruth, she needed assistance to use the bathroom. Winston, who came to help, initially assisted Ruth onto the toilet, but then left to tend to another patient. He was gone for so long that Ruth became distressed and started to cry. Despite pulling the emergency cord, no one came to assist her. Fortunately, another nurse eventually arrived to help, but this delay caused unnecessary distress to my mother. Request for Air Mattress: On Thursday, May 22, 2025, I requested an air mattress for my mother. I followed up on Friday and again on Saturday. Unfortunately, the mattress was not brought to her until late Sunday afternoon, which was an unacceptable delay given her condition. (picture attached) Bathroom Assistance and Nurse Interaction: On another occasion, a nurse assisted me in bringing my mother to the bathroom. However, once we arrived, Ruth was too fatigued to use the toilet. The nurse then left to attend to another patient. I was left to manage the situation, but when I tried to assist my mother in getting back onto the toilet, a different nurse entered and raised her voice at me. (the nurse was white and on the hefty side) She insisted that Ruth be returned to her wheelchair and put back to bed, even though I had already nearly helped Ruth onto the toilet. Sunday, May 25, 2025 - Fall Incident: On this date, Ruth fell and sustained injuries. The images of her injuries are attached for your reference. This incident is of particular concern, and I believe it warrants further investigation into the circumstances surrounding her fall. I am reaching out with the hope that these situations will be thoroughly reviewed and addressed. The care my mother received did not meet the standards I expect from a healthcare facility, and I would appreciate any steps that can be taken to ensure better care in the future.

Our daughter had a flat spot on her head that our pediatrician kept telling us to wait and see. If I had listened to her pediatrician my child would be one of those kids walking around with those plastic helmets which cost thousands of dollars may. And those helmets only fix the exterior cranial plates. She actually See's quite a few kids who's parents went the helmet route to fix issues the helmet didn't or at least make the issues more manageable like headaches etc. Instead of waiting we went to see Carol about 8 times and she manually fixed out daughters head with precise gentle movements using her hands. There was no pain to my daughter and she was a pleasure to deal with. I would suggest her to anyone. She works on all ages from infants to adults. So if you're in need of Integrative manual therapy she's your lady. She has also done cranial sacral therapy on my husband and it has helped him with some aches and pains.
