Front office staff lies to patients. Call on Monday 10/7 after being told by the pharmacy that I need to contact my physician to refill. Called and spoke to Linda who advised that she would send the request to the physician. After no response or action, followed and spoke with Kayla who said that since I hadn't been in recently, they won't refill the prescription. Nobody from the office had alerted me to this prior to running out of my prescription. Asked to speak to a manager and was told that somebody by the name of Erin would call me back. After asking for Erins last name, I was told that she was new and not a single person in the office that can tell me her last name which is obviously a lie. After hundreds of poor reviews, its amazing that Pro Health Physicians hasn't made any effort to course correct. After speaking to nursing manager Kelly Clancy, she confirmed Erin is the office manager. Any problems with the administration at that office should be directed at those two. read more

I've never encountered a more poorly run medical practice than Pro Health Physicians. While they claim to prioritize patient care, my experience was anything but. I had an appointment at the office in Marlborough. I walked in to check into my appointment and kindly waited for a gentlemen's in front of me to finish up~4 min. When it was my turn to check in they informed me that I have to reschedule my appointment because I was 10 min late. The woman at the front desk was unaccommodating and rude. Meanwhile, I was forced to wait for them to even call me to check in. It's incredibly frustrating that they seem to value their own time over patients' needs. If you're considering going here, be prepared for rude staff and a complete lack of understanding when it comes to respecting patients' time. This practice is a prime example of what happens when a company cares more about appearances than actual service. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and will find a whole different company. read more

I have to say the overall experience has been a nightmare. DO NOT CONSIDER GOING TO THIS PRACTICE. They are run by inexperienced health care workers. I initially started going here, due to my primary care Physician closing his practice and going here. All was good until Optum took over the practice. I had a physical in 2024 of Sept. billed in correctly, then they corrected. When correcting they told my insurance they would void the first check, then what did Pro-Health billing do they voided the 2nd check too and blame my insurance company. I was billed in April 2025 $248.00, for an annual physical that is covered under my insurance. I called their billing which is off shore by the way. They were insistent I owed and I refused to pay, they hung up on me twice. I then called back with my insurance company and they hung up on both of us. I left the practice due to this, I refuse to pay a bill that is fully covered under my insurance. I thought all was said and done, until I got billed again in October 2025 for the same issue. I went back and forth between Pro-Health billing and my insurance company and the insurance said for them to re-issue the bill. When I called back they wanted a reference number. I had to call my insurance again, got one that was the rep. name with the date. When I called back to give this to billing at Pro-Health the girl was giving me a hard time. I was crying on the phone, because Pro-health refuses to contact the insurance company. They finally let me get off the phone and okayed the reference number I gave here. I also, tried going to Pro-Health Physician office in Manchester and the receptionist gave me an attitude about talking to someone about my bill. I was insistent that the bill needed to be taken care of today. The Account payable in house person would not talk to me I had to write all my info on a sticky note and give to receptionist. I started to explain my situation and she gave me an attitude and was sassy and wanting nothing to do with this. I did get a call back from Erin there in house accounts payable person, but she does not do the billing from there, it is all off shore. She is trying to help, but all she is able to do is put notes into her computer that the billing dept. sees and that is it. I will not PAY THIS BILL. It is Nov. 6 2025 and this bill is still on going. I would recommend if you are a patient here to find another practice. You are just a number to these people and they want your money and don't care about your health. BEWARE!!! read more

This is a sorry excuse for medical facility. The office staff is completely incompetent, unable or unwilling to learn the basic functions of their job. Patient care is not at the forefront of an institution that, I assume, was started to care for patients. They lie, including their Office Manager, about basic mistakes that cost myself and my family unnecessary mental and physical stress that could've been avoided by just doing their jobs. They show no empathy or willingness to help until they are faced with the undeniable fallacy in their claim. We are bound to medical practices because of the lunacy of the modern healthcare system in the US. This is one that I would highly suggest avoiding. Healthcare providers and their support staff should be there to help, not make us feel like criminals, drug addicts, or problematic people when help is all we need. Unethical billing for services not performed! After one simple annual physical appointment, the office billed me for both an annual physical appointment AND an illness appointment. There was no illness or discussion of illness at my physical appointment. It was just one appointment. When I called to ask them to correct the billing, they refused and said they billed for both because during my physical, I answered a handful of generic questions from the doctor about my health. Apparently answering questions about my general health is outside the scope of a physical and costs extra?! Total scam and racket! read more

The office did not provide a link for the virtual meeting ahead of the appointment. I had to wait 30 minutes on the phone to get the link. I then waited another hour just for the doctor to get on the call. The office did not have my information even though I've been there for several years. The doctor was rushing the conversation and the call ends rather abruptly. read more

If I could give no stars I would! My primary joined this sham of a physician group a few years back and it's been the worst experience. The appointment receptionist are rude And have no clue what they are doing. They schedule and change your appointments with no reminders. They cancel before calling to confirm you will be a no show and for some odd reason it's like my doctor is never available. I have seen everyone else in the practice, whom are also horrible! I went in once for an earache was told they could do nothing only to have my ear swell up weeks later from the infection, instead of referring me to the ENT right next door! They take forever to get back with you and seem to lack organization. The office manager should probably look for a new job! read more

This office is completely disorganized. Without fail, each visit includes scheduling snafus, ridiculously long wait times (beyond scheduled appointment time), and mishandled paperwork. Even the providers complain that the support staff makes their jobs more difficult. If it wasn't so hard to find a good doctor I would have left years ago. I miss the days of small, patient-centered practices that provided quality, personalized care. Our health care system is so broken, and poorly managed offices like ProHealth Physicians are a huge part of that. read more

Incompetent, scheduler 35 minute hold, no appointments, these guys are not good. Scheduling department should be fired.

On top of the fact that it takes over 10 minutes to get through to their phones, I was supposed to have certain tests done and apparently the doctor just "didn't run them" when she looked me in the eye and said a list of tests they were running. Yesterday when I called the MA HAD TO LOOK UP THE MEANING OF WHAT I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH. DO YOU REALIZE HOW STRESSFUL IT IS TO HAVE AN MA THAT DOESNT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE READING TO YOU. I cannot tell you how unprofessional this place is. To top it all of my scripts haven't been called in EVEN AFTER WE TALKED OM THE PHONE. I should have looked at the reviews before even going there. My scheduled appointment was at 8am, so I arrived at 7:50am to check in and was told the APRN will see me. Waited for 30 minutes before speaking with the receptionist about my appointment, in which she called the office but no answer was given. APRN Massey was no where to be found, but yet I was given text notice about my appointment several times to confirm, and yet still I was not see at all today. Considering having another establishment with a reliable Doctor/APRN who doesn't pick up her office phone when their patient has waited 30 minutes past his appointment schedule to know. read more

I wish I could give this office a minus 5 rating along with one of their PA's Jyoti Mittal. She is a horrible and downright rude person and PA. i have moved to NC and have an appt with a new pcp down here but I can't be seen until May. I asked Jyoti Mittal to renew my blood pressure, anxiety, cholesterol meds,she refused and told me I'm no longer a patient. I have been a patient there since the day it opened. You also can't have a phone conversation with her because she'll yell at you then hang up on you. She is no professional in my opinion. read more

TL;DR: In case the one star doesn't speak for itself, DO NOT GO HERE. I was two minutes late for my physical exam and apologized upon arriving. I was seen immediately and provided a urine sample. A nurse came in to the private room where I was waiting and told me the receptionist said I was 10 min late to my appointment, so they didn't have time to give me the full physical (which I found a little ironic since I had been waiting in that room for close to that time). Instead, she said, this would be considered an office visit, and I could come again and finish up the physical. I tried to explain that I had only been two minutes late, but she laughed and said she was only the messenger. Of course I asked if I would have to pay for anything or if it would still be fully covered under preventative care. Both the nurse and receptionist told me that they didn't know, and I would need to call my insurance company. This is also what I'd been told about my physical when I called to make the appointment, which I knew was covered, and because I assumed that since this was "part one" of my physical, I figured I should be fine with the billing. A couple weeks later, I got an invoice for $91.35, for what ended up being billed as an office visit. This was unacceptable because I'm perfectly healthy and was squeezing in my year-end physical more as a formality than out of necessity, and it should have been entirely covered. I called them immediately and was transferred to the person who handles billing inquires. She didn't pick up, so I left a message. I have since called the office once a week for a second and third time, each time being placed on hold for a total of 20-30 min and each time leaving a voicemail for this person in charge of billing. Finally, she called me back after the third voicemail, heard me out, and then told me she would review and contact me in a week. Two months later, I remember she never called me back when I get a "final notice prior to collections" letter in the mail from ProHealth. I call the central billing office to find that this stellar employee retired a week ago...without taking care of my issue. When I called the Manchester office, I was directed to a new employee, who had taken over the role. She did listen to my whole story and said she would need to review before she called me back tomorrow. She did call me back within 24 hours like she promised, but she said she was unable to get it overturned because a physical needs to meet certain requirements otherwise it constitutes fraud. I understand that there's nothing she can do, but I'm so angry at all the different levels of treatment I received as a first-time customer of this practice. I will be paying my bill reluctantly and then filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and any other regulatory agency I can think of. I have no issues with the doctors/PAs here, the facilities, or the care itself. But the receptionist lied about the time I had arrived, the nurse who passed on the receptionist's note was condescending, and it's been over four months since receiving the bill (five months since my "office visit") and the case was finally reviewed after four phone calls and at least two hours of being on hold (by a second employee after the first retired without calling me back like promised). Worst of all, there's no cost transparency with this office. Save yourself some trouble and go to another practice. I wouldn't wish this experience on someone I didn't like. read more

Comes down to patient relationship management. Manchester Pro-Health has not figured it out. They have had problems for years. When your PA-Cs have a higher review ratings than the doctors, it is indication the office is not managed well. Beyond the one doctor who is charged with inappropriate behavior. The long term doctors are more concerned about the number of appointments versus balancing customer health and cost. Cost being the number of times they require you to have a doctors visit or the length of time you sit in waiting room and/or the examining room. One of their doctors, makes you wait hours.. like 2-4 hours FYI.. this is not reflective of other Prohealth offices. I went to Bistol for 4-5 years. That was the best care I got in years. if you have to see a doctor at ProHealth in Manchester, CT..see a PA-C.. the doctors are running the insane asylum. read more

I had been a patient at Prohealth Manchester for over 5 years...until today. I arrived for my appointment within the strictly enforced 10 minute window. I was at the check in booth when a call came from the back office to see if I had arrived. I witnessed the call and the affirmative answer. After much waiting and confusion I was informed that my appointment was cancelled because I was late...although they acknowledged I was not.. I left my job early to accomodate the mid-day opening because I need to see my physician. I will now seek a new doc, and I will share my negative impressions (of which this is simply the latest). Absoloutly the worst place! Terrible dr to patient Communication. Took weeks on end to get answers playing phone tag with a nurse who didn't know what she was even talking to me about and the dr didn't care enough after A MONTH, to get back to me herself. In the midst of this I called one day at 915!!! 15 mins after they opened, told me there was no way they could fit me in for a simple 5 minute throat culture that i would have only even needed to see the nurse for , i was told i needed to go to the walk in! Which cost me 175$ more!! I told them that and They didnt care and told me that was my option even though i called right when they opened and they lied and told me there were no sick visits left. My boyfriend then called 10 minutes and was able to be made an appt. terrible terrible terrible!! I would NEVER recommend this place! read more

The Physicians and professional staff are great-the front end and the administration of this Manchester location is a train wreck. In 2017 I experienced the following. 1. I showed up to check in 10 minutes early for a scheduled appointment only to be told by the front end that the M.D. had cancelled his previous days appointments as well as this days appointment. When queried as to why I hadn't received a call or email notification of the cancellation the response was a blank look. When queried a second time the response was: "I guess we forgot." No apology. No offer to reschedule. 2. I contracted a URI. After a week of no improvement I called for an appointment with my primary explaining my situation to the scheduler. The first opening was in two weeks and that with a PA not an MD. I kept the appointment and was told at check in my appointment had been cancelled. Again, no call or email notification of the cancellation. I asked if someone else could see me that afternoon and was told no-I'd have be rescheduled and that the earliest would be another 10 days. Again no apology. I stepped away from the checkin station to use my cell only to hear the front end staff discussing how f**ked up the place was. I left, went to a local walk in-was seen, received an Rx for antibiotic in under 30 minutes. Within 24 hours I was asymptomatic. 3. I use a mail order prescription service for certain mail order maintenance drugs. A 90 day supply is cost free. Anything less than 90 days I'm charged for. I required a refill on a maintenance drug whose Rx had expired. I called to have the 90 day Rx refilled. In the mail I received a 30 day supply and a bill. I called the prescription company. They advised the MD had changed to 30 days. I called ProHealth. They said no, they had not changed the Rx-the drug company was wrong. I called the drug company again. They pulled the Fax request-read the date, the time, the name of sender from ProHealth and the change from a 90 to a 30 day supply. I called ProHealth again. Again ProHealth said no, they had not changed the Rx-the drug company was wrong. I asked the front end who was John Doe on the ProHealth staff since he had sent the fax at the time and on the date of the Fax. I was placed on hold for 12 minutes and then was told the supply had been changed because I was soon due for my regularly scheduled appointment. I pointed out that that appointment was scheduled 5 months from now and it seemed to me a mistake had been made and could they resubmit for a 90 day supply? The answer was no-I had to see the MD for a 90 day supply and here's the punchline-I couldn't see him for six weeks... 4. I could relate more examples of the total ineptitude of Manchester ProHealth but I am some done. read more

I was seen for a motorcycle accident in May 2019. The wait time was great. Didn't wait long before taken to the back and into a room. 5/mins later, I was seen by a PA I believe. The only thing I truly don't like as a paying customer, is that they bring a Medical Student into the room with them and ask if it's okay. I believe this is unprofessional. They placing you up for an acward situation where as you won't say no. Completely impolite. They should come in the room alone and ask the patient privately if it okay. If it's okay with the patient they can get their student. If no is the answer, no need to get the med student. Let's not lose site that there are a lot of people who would like just to speak with their Doctors privately. Put yourself the the patients shoes! Other than that, great place. read more

My daughter and I went yesterday to the clinic. I had made an appointment for my daughter at 12:45 and then for both of us for flu shots at 13:15. We were on time, but could not check in because the office staff was "changing shifts". I thought this was odd, but the woman at the front desk was polite and asked us to take a seat. After 20 minutes, we checked in and my daughter was seen 5 minutes later. I was brought in for my flu shot a few minutes later. The staff were polite and efficient. My daughter was seen by Mary Robbins PA-C. She had a wonderful bedside manner with my daughter and was an excellent clinician. I was very pleased. Mrs. Robbins gave us both our flu shots quite expertly and then we left. The entire visit lasted about an hour. I had read the google reviews before going to the clinic, but my PCP recommended that we try here because we could not get in with our regular MD. We had a good experience and will go to this clinic again. read more

Former patient of a Dr. no longer there due to misconduct with his patients. I had an appointment the following week from his arrest. The staff was quite rude. I knew it would be rough for them, but that's no excuse for being rude. So received an appointment with another Dr. for the end of the month. I take a medication that requires a monthly check up. My medication was about to run out. Called to get it called in, was told it would be. Two days later I go to get it, and not there. I call, and speak with a very rude condescending female, who rudely tells me I need to wait until my appointment, because there is a good chance it will not be prescribed again, because of side affects. Now I've been on this for four or five months now, no negative side affects. So when I explained this she got more rude. So called another office made an appointment with a very pleasant woman. Called the Manchester office and cancelled that one. Just amazed at the level of unprofessionally they are handling this situation. It's not out fault you had a Dr who couldn't control himself!!!!! read more

I couldn't agree more with Biota and Kyla. Had a terrible experience here. Two doctors looked in my ear for a total of 30 minutes (for both), then proceeded to charge me $1,000 and say, "you have a hole in your ear." Terrible bedside manner, no personality to speak of. And communication in their office is NON-EXISTENT. OMG, never saw such poor communication in a professional, medical setting. I immediately looked for someone else and have since had an excellent experience with Dr. Marc Eisen out of Wethersfield, CT. Highly recommend him. I have told my PCP's office in West Hartford (ProHealth) that their ENT colleagues in Manchester have a lot of work to do and I would NOT recommend anyone go to them. read more

1st waited more than 20 minutes to make an appointment. Waited 50 minutes in the exam room. PA was impersonal and told me that my physician's office was sending a lot of people to them which she thought was good for them. She was unable to diagnose the pain in my ear and told me to see my Dr. tomorrow if it wasn't better even though I told her that my Dr.'s office couldn't fit me in this week and I was leaving for school on Sunday. It was a waste of my co-pay and my time. Don't waist your time going here. read more
