We chose to work with a local company, even though they were not on our insurance's preferred vendor list. We knew that while the project may take longer than if we worked with a large corporate company, we felt would get more individualized attention, they would be working for us instead of for the insurance company, and the quality of work would be better. All this proved to be the case. The communication with the Kapi team was fantastic - keeping us updated every step of the way. Adam advocated for us with our insurance company, worked with us on changes and upgrades we wanted to work into the rebuild, and offered honest advice in decision-making. His team of skilled workers delivered high quality results and were friendly and helpful. The office staff were kind and accommodating and helped make all the paperwork and logistics flow so smoothly, even handling things with our mortgage company - this was such a gift in a stressful season. Our rebuild took about 1 year, but it was worth the wait because our home is now better than it was before the fire.
