They sent a…read moreproject manager out to give me an estimate, and I was told that I would be able to be back in my home within 4 to 6 weeks. I asked for an estimate of cost, and was told that I could reasonably expect a cost of $50,000 to $60,000 at most. Actual final cost of repair was over $110,000. Demo started that week, and was complete within a month. However, that is the point at which work stopped. The project manager who had been on my project left the company suddenly, and a new project manager was assigned. That is the point at which communication took a drastic turn for the worse. The new PM would never return calls. I had to leave messages for the company owner to get any contact back. There was no work at all completed for more than 6 weeks. My insurance adjuster kept asking for a written estimate, and told me to tell EJH that they wouldn't be approving any repairs until they had a written estimate. Finally after 3 months, I showed up at their office and refused to leave without a meeting face to face. When I said I wanted a time frame of when it would be done, the PM looked at me unbelievably that I actually expected a date, a week, a month or even a year...that meeting was in August 2021, and I was told I would be home by October. Work started again the middle of September, and a 3rd PM was assigned, who told me I would be home by Christmas 2021. The work was MOSTLY complete by the middle of March 2022, and the PM wanted a check for payment in full even though the work wasn't yet complete. To this date, December 15 2022, there is still work they said would be completed and has not yet been done. Do NOT hire EJH.

I called a third time and received apologies for the lack of communication. A person came out two days prior to Thanksgiving to quote us in adding a sunroom. It is December 23 and we have not heard back from anybody. I'm not that interested in working with a business that you have to work FOR. I thought it should be the other way around. We will absolutely not recommend them to any of our friends nor will we continue with this company. It's been nothing but a huge disappointment.

Adam advocated for us with our insurance company, worked with us on changes and upgrades we wanted to work into the rebuild, and offered honest advice in decision-making. I had a great experience with weDry Restoration. I had first contacted a different company due to a…read moremold smell in one of our bedroom closets. The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company.
