I highly recommend him, and would like to emphasize his communication skills. Some instructors have the knowledge but not the ability to communicate that knowledge in an effective and useful way. You can be current but not proficient. Brian makes me proficient, which is safely and effectively, going beyond just fulfilling the legal mandates. While currency keeps a pilot legal to fly, proficiency is what keeps them alive and ensures they can safely manage complex scenarios and make good decisions.

I bought this in December 2016, and did the flight April 2018. We were long distance so we had been trying to plan this when he would visit. The weather was unfortunate every time, so we had to keep rescheduling. The staff here was so helpful and quick to respond in rescheduling our flight a number of times. We got to the office by PDK airport and we were greeted by the staff. They were very welcoming. He was able to do a flight simulator prior to flying. We met up with Spencer, who would be flying with us. He was very nice and a great teacher in walking through the steps of checking everything before you fly and how to actually fly the plane. He allowed my boyfriend to do most of the flying, but he was right there in case he would've had to step in or takeover with his own controls. The tour of the city was awesome and my boyfriend loved it once his nerves subsided! The weather was perfect and we went around sunset. I was so happy I got to ride along while we flew to experience it also. This would be a great date night and I would totally do this again! My boyfriend was talking about wanting his pilot license now that he did that. If you're interested in seeing what it's like to fly, you should definitely check this out!

They use an online scheduling app for lessons, so you are always in the know on getting your time slots set up with the correct flight instructor and aircraft. Speaking of instructors and staff, Brady Houser has been a superb flight instructor, and Ansley does a great job at the front desk and handling anything we need. It's great working with a team with professionalism and a good dose of humor. I also appreciate the fact that they keep their aircraft and hangar in such tip top shape. You always feel safe and taken care of. You can tell that these folks care about their reputation, and they go the extra mile. After taking discovery flights with six different schools and…read moretrying out two separate ones, I learned two things. 1) Saving money doesn't matter if you're dead and 2) This is the only Part 61 school that actually turns students into certified pilots. Seriously, every other school is amateur hour. If all you want is to get to the solo and get your video or photo or whatever, then fine, go to the steam gauge place with the overweight and apathetic or geriatric and incompetent instructors. These instructors and planes are TOP NOTCH. The Cessna 172's have traffic on the screen! This matters b/c you will not see a plane until it's a mile away. Seriously, it takes time to spot traffic, and I like knowing where planes around me are when I can't see them. Basically, you pay for what you get and aviation has an EIGHTY PERCENT wash-out rate. Therefore, getting your PPL will take longer and cost more than you think. But if you're serious about being the twenty percent that make it to the other side, this is the place.

It was an awesome experience and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a unique experience or if they are interested in becoming a pilot. I knock off one star because the plane we flew was on the older side. I believe it was made in '74. It flew smooth though but I would have preferred something at least made in the 90s..but hey that's just me!

It's hard to learn one person's name, but having to learn that seven people that were on the tour and being correct every time it was impressive. They give you a helmet and teach you from the beginning how to ride, slow down, come to fast stop so you are comfortable before you even start the tour. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. I highly recommend you take this tour if you're ever in Atlanta.

This is my first and only negative review. It takes a lot for me to do this. We had a very…read moredisappointing experience with this company. Our group of four booked a Segway tour weeks in advance and arrived as scheduled, only to be told upon arrival that the tour could not proceed because their tour guide was unavailable that day. We were informed that they had attempted to notify us the day prior, while we were in transit, but no meaningful effort was made to ensure we actually received that message. A voicemail was left while in transit that only gave the name of the person to call back. We did respond message the company back but no message of details was sent to us. There was no information given us that the tour had been cancelled and there was no effort by the company to call us back this morning to indicate the tour was canceled. Instead this company allowed us to show up. When we showed up this morning, the office was dead quiet. The one staff easily could've contacted us before we arrived, to have allowed us to make alternate plans. As a result, we showed up expecting a confirmed booking. While an apology and refund were offered, that is the minimum one would expect in this situation. There was no attempt to find a replacement guide or propose an alternative solution, despite the significant inconvenience caused. What was most concerning, however, was how the situation was handled. As we calmly discussed next steps among ourselves, we were unexpectedly told that we were making the staff member, Sammi, "uncomfortable". Despite the fact that even though we were highly disappointed we remained polite and measured. We were then asked to leave, and the door was locked behind us, which felt offensive as well as entirely unwarranted given our demeanor. She should've called us that morning and if anything that would possibly be why she was uncomfortable because of her own mistake. Our disappointment was warranted and we were not in any way aggressive, moreover never have any of us been called that. It's preposterous that her mistake, resulting in our disappointment and regrouping could be attributed with making her uncomfortable. She could have a higher tolerance for customers and customer service vs blaming validly disappointed customers for frustration which she caused. We are reasonable, respectful customers and simply expected clear communication and a basic level of customer service. Unfortunately, neither was demonstrated here. I would not recommend relying on this business if your plans depend on them.
