Based on my experience, the negative reviews on Google Maps accurately describe what I went through. In my opinion, Tony's behavior felt dishonest and extremely unprofessional. Please please do not give him your money. If he offers you a package deal, say no. Actually, just don't even attend. He frequently yelled at students and employees, often had to tiptoe around his mood. The atmosphere was incredibly toxic and absolutely not a healthy environment to study in. Many students strongly dislike how the place is run, and I understand exactly why. Tony has an anger issue. And if you're reading this, Tony -- as someone who has been in this field a long time, aren't you at least a little embarrassed by the way you treat people? Please stop taking advantage of vulnerable students. You are hurting people who are simply trying to learn.

Do NOT waste your money here!! One of the worst flight schools in the area! Many pilots in the area…read moreall say how bad they are. Tony the owner is so cheap he won't spend the money to properly fix the airplanes causing delays in training. He has flat out lied promising a "package deal" that he said would include everything. He comes later and asks for more money saying it's "extra"! They teach the students to "memorize" the answers to the written test instead of teaching them the information. How does this produce a good pilot when you never teach the basic information? DO NOT USE THIS FLIGHT SCHOOL!!

Here is what their website says about Civil Air Patrol:…read more "Civil Air Patrol's cadet program transforms youth into dynamic Americans and aerospace leaders through a curriculum that focuses on leadership, aerospace, fitness and character. As cadets participate in these four elements, they advance through a series of achievements, earning honors and increased responsibilities along the way. Many of the nation's astronauts, pilots, engineers and scientists first explored their careers through CAP. -- Attracts over 25,000 members ages 12 through 20 for participation in its cadet programs. -- Educates youth in four main program areas: leadership, aerospace, fitness and character development. -- Enriches school curricula through after-school programs. -- Offers orientation flights in powered and glider aircraft, as well as flight training scholarships. -- Provides activities and competitions for cadets at the local, state, regional and national levels. -- Makes opportunities for community involvement available through color guard/drill team and emergency service missions. -- Challenges youth to be ambassadors for a drug-free lifestyle. -- Nurtures the skills of CAP cadets who make up about 10 percent of each of the U.S. Air Force Academy's classes. -- Cadets who have earned the Gen. Billy Mitchell Award enlist in the Air Force, U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard at a higher pay grade. -- Participates in the International Air Cadet Exchange program. -- Awards college scholarships in several disciplines. Civil Air Patrol's awarding-winning aerospace education program promotes aerospace, aviation and STEM-related careers with engaging, standards-based, hands-on curriculum and activities. It shapes the experiences and aspirations of youth both in and outside of CAP's cadet program." And from a parents perspective, it is a wonderful program that has truly focused our son on a career in aviation and military, as well as being his most excellence self. The transformation in him is remarkable. He's always been a great son, but his drive since becoming part of the Cadet program has skyrocketed. The people we have met and the encouragement and support he has received just makes my heart beat with joy for his future. CAP is a wonderful foundational program he will use to build on for the remainder of his life.

They use an online scheduling app for lessons, so you are always in the know on getting your time slots set up with the correct flight instructor and aircraft. Speaking of instructors and staff, Brady Houser has been a superb flight instructor, and Ansley does a great job at the front desk and handling anything we need. It's great working with a team with professionalism and a good dose of humor. I also appreciate the fact that they keep their aircraft and hangar in such tip top shape. You always feel safe and taken care of. You can tell that these folks care about their reputation, and they go the extra mile. Give these guys a shot if you are looking for flight training or to rent an aircraft.

I bought this in December 2016, and did the flight April 2018. We were long distance so we had been trying to plan this when he would visit. The weather was unfortunate every time, so we had to keep rescheduling. The staff here was so helpful and quick to respond in rescheduling our flight a number of times. We got to the office by PDK airport and we were greeted by the staff. They were very welcoming. He was able to do a flight simulator prior to flying. We met up with Spencer, who would be flying with us. He was very nice and a great teacher in walking through the steps of checking everything before you fly and how to actually fly the plane. He allowed my boyfriend to do most of the flying, but he was right there in case he would've had to step in or takeover with his own controls. The tour of the city was awesome and my boyfriend loved it once his nerves subsided! The weather was perfect and we went around sunset. I was so happy I got to ride along while we flew to experience it also. This would be a great date night and I would totally do this again! My boyfriend was talking about wanting his pilot license now that he did that. If you're interested in seeing what it's like to fly, you should definitely check this out!

Absolutely amazing. The instructor was great and friendly, and aircraft was modern and up-to-date.read more
