I had a move-out cleaning. When I first arrived to grab the last bit of our things, the cleaners…read morehad just arrived. They were VERY friendly and they were hard at work cleaning the window sills and bathroom upstairs. We left and didn't come back until the next day. The kitchen looked amazing and all the counters were great! But the floors weren't swept - AT ALL. And it was rather egregious with dust bunnies and leaves that had blown in, so I don't think they forgot. We also paid an extra $40 for grout cleaning in the master bath, but that wasn't done. It looked like they ran out of time? I had filled out all the information on how many bedrooms and baths needed cleaning, but I don't know how long they had allotted. I came back the next day to sweet and scrub the bathtub and grout myself. I let MyHoustonMaids know and the manager contacted me and refunded just the amount I paid for grout cleaning. I'd use a different company next time - especially for a move-out when you don't have time for them to come back and fix it. You get what you pay for, I think, and this company is quite cheap.

This never went right from the first time they cleaned my house. The team was nice and personable…read morebut the cleaning was not very good. A lot of corners cut and just carelessness-- Moroccan rug sucked up into vacuum cleaner making a large hole, acid used in my stainless kitchen sink causing a chemical reaction that created rust on the stainless, scratched the stainless on my fridge (looks as if they used a scrubbing pad in it and if that isn't enough-- out fitted sheeted were put in the beds inside out and too sheet an quilt put on sideways. Just so disappointing. I wanted to like this company but each cleaning brought new problems and damages. The lead cleaner left her crew at my house without supervision for my last and final cleaning!

I actually found Carlos after another cleaning company left me high and dry for a move out…read morecleaning. Carlos was extremely friendly on the phone and made special arrangements to come out to my house that day! He even gave me updates via text as to the status of the cleaners so I knew their ETA. He brought Jessica and her husband who did phenomenal work. They were even able to remove some hard water stains that I had been trying for years to remove (why hadn't I called them earlier?). Included in the cleaning was inside and outside the refrigerator and oven. Again, spotless work. They cleaned the entire house in a few hours and it looks brand new and smells fresh. I'm sure the buyer of my house will appreciate it. I would highly recommend Carlos for any jobs in the future, he really saved me today!

I've used Right Choice Cleaning for two years and highly recommend them. Robert, the owner, and…read moreMartha, his co-worker, clean our townhouse regularly and make it shine. I always make sure to call them before we have out of town visitors. I appreciate their attention to detail -- no item is too small to be wiped down or scrubbed up. They do an excellent job with our glass - the sliding outer doors and shower door. We have pets and I like that Right Choice really scrubs our tile floors clean. I try to keep our house clean on my own, but Right Choice does a better job than I can do myself. They are very responsive. They are flexible and willing to make an appointment around my schedule. When I call 477-8788 at night and leave a message, I always hear back from them the next morning. The workers at Right Choice are thorough and make me feel that I've gotten my money's worth.

I do not recommend Serene Lux Cleaning Services…read more I hired this company for a deep clean prior to moving into my home, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The owner provided a quote without ever viewing the property, which should have been a red flag. Two cleaners were sent out, and after approximately 8 hours, they left having completed only about half of the home. The areas they claimed to have cleaned were not done thoroughly or professionally. Despite this, I was told I still needed to pay the remaining balance because the workers "showed up and worked," even though the job was incomplete and poorly done. What was most concerning was the lack of communication and accountability: The team became "overwhelmed," yet I was never informed while they were on-site, even though I was present the entire time The owner later admitted she received updates and photos from her supervisor but still did not notify me Instead of correcting the issue, I was offered the option to pay additional hourly fees ($50-$90/hour) for someone else to finish the job that should have been completed initially I expressed my dissatisfaction and even provided photo evidence of the incomplete and poorly cleaned areas. Despite this, I felt pressured to pay the remaining balance to avoid potential conflict after just closing on my home. This experience was unprofessional, poorly managed, and not worth the cost. A deep cleaning service should be thorough, organized, and communicative--this was none of those. I would strongly advise others to choose a company that conducts an in-person walkthrough, provides accurate estimates, and stands behind their work.
