The Carpet Depot should not be confused with Selby Carpets who have been established in the town for many years. The Carpet Depot offers carpets at factory prices at substantially reduced prices. You can buy the carpets direct and take them with you or you can use their fitting service, which has an additional charge. The underlay is good quality and can also be taken with you or fitted. There are limited styles but still a fair range that is much cheaper than some of the big carpet companies; either way, it's still well worth a visit.

Carpetright sell a choice of carpets, vinyl and laminate floorings and rugs. There is a free estimating and planning service and fitting, although you pay extra for this unless you buy their underlay. Carpetright always seem to have sales and special offers and say they sell the cheapest carpets in town.
