My 90 year old mom was there for four weeks after a long hospital stay. Sometimes she waited over 40 minutes just to go to the bathroom. The aids never ask if there is anything else that she need, they walk right out of the room as soon as she is back in her chair, often forgetting to give her her call button. Instead of helping her get back to independent living they got her dependent on diapers. The physical therapy wasnt all that great either (they did not do too much). The food is horrible and my mom lost 15 pounds after the first 3 weeks without anyone saying anything to me. Oh and the showers, my mom got a foot fungus. and it took two weeks for her just to get her first shower. They sent her home without having a shower in 10 days. Like others said, there are a few nice people who care, but most don't. I saw the aids hanging out in an oversized closet so that they cant be found when paged.

My child had been attending their full time ABA program here for three years until it abruptly came to an end after receiving a letter during dinner one night that was likely a product of ChatGPT from the owners Jennifer Moore & Naomi Sutton. In short, we learned that all services for my child (and several others) were being canceled and the last day would be in the next 29 days. It also included a list of other centers that were clearly just some results of a quick Google search. The letter directed us to direct all of our questions or concerns to their "patient care coordinator" who was wholly un-equipped and uninformed to respond to our concerns. She provided nothing more than her marching orders & delivered a scripted response. It was clear that the abrupt cut to so many of their kids was a result of larger business & insurance issues that had been in proliferation for MONTHS & they must have thought the parents were either too stupid or blind to notice. Further, several requests were made to speak with the owners and each and every one was INTENTIONALLY IGNORED AND DISMISSED. We are parents who place our blind trust and care in the hands of others and a request for something as simple as communication should be a given. So, to be repeatedly denied the opportunity to be heard is an alarming red flag for this establishment & there is no reason to believe we will be the last to have the same experience. So Madams, please consider this your open letter - families like mine are fragile & vulnerable & this life is riddled with people who repeatedly let your children down. And even then, few are as low as to discard your child like Sunday night's trash so you can "just get out of it as quick as we can." So count yourself amongst this despicable population because we will NEVER recover from this, but we are also here to remind you that we will never absolve you of your cowardice and shame.

Everyone from the nurses to the doctors were curt, cold, and rude. Dr. Loretta Cinquepalmi was patronizing, unfeeling, and critical. We had her both times we went to the ER. She was dismissive and interrupted me frequently and spoke down to us the entire visit. After being rushed back to the ER on our pediatrician's recommendation, she asked us "Why are you here AGAIN?" and then requested my pediatrician's phone number because she couldn't fathom why we would return. She called my pediatrician (who was very concerned about my son's medical condition) and said "Why would you bother sending him back?" He reported she was condescending with him as well. She spoke to my mother and me as if we were the village idiots. The nurses were cold as well, strapping my 4-year-old down to the bed to get his blood drawn without so much as speaking to him or looking his way. The receptionist checking us in was the only person who was kind. But a nice receptionist is not why you should choose an ER for your child. I will never return to this ER. Do not repeat my mistake -- go to another hospital instead.

The staff here made it seem easier than it was. Mind you my injuries were a lot less severe than most. All the same I was glad I was sent here. The reason for the subtraction of 1 star is that they kept trying to bill me $10. I was a workmans Comp case so I wouldn't owe anything. It took me about 15 calls to clear this up. Staff is excellent, and that's the most important part for us. Nursing team is top notch, caring, and professional. Nurse Lisa runs the health-care team and she is easy to work with and has excellent medical judgment. Nurse Julie is also great. We were warned that this is a deficient facility, but were persuaded to come because it is under new administration. Aides wake her up at 6 am, though she needs only one medication per day which could be administered any time. and when she fell recently, the aides took half a day to come to help her. One serious problem is that the staff turns around frequently. Several staff members are long-time employees and get to know residents and care about them. but many are there for short stints, even just for weekends it seems. It makes me wonder if the short stints are a policy to save the company money. I have been in the 'memory care' or Alzheimer's wing, to visit my father with my mother, and there are aides there who ignore pleas for help by residents. Some are attentive and others just call out to feeble and distracted residents to 'sit down!.' We moved my parents to this facility, hoping my mother would count on the professional help that Brighton Gardens brags about in its advertisements and in the recorded message you hear while waiting, and waiting, to be connected to an aide. But I'm afraid we'll have to look for another residence and move them again. For a high price you get low level service and anxiety at Brighton Gardens.
