My mom was a resident from February 2022 till June 2023 when she passed due to complications from…read moresurgery. She was 93. We had looked at many places and my mom picked Colonial Manor. The building and surroundings are absolutely stunning. Not at all like the cold hospital atmosphere of most other assisted living facilities we visited. It is more like a grand, ornate mansion for the wealth. My mom like being there so much that she said she should have moved there a long time ago. It was like always being on vacation. She absolutely loved the place. The staff made extra effort to make sure she was well cared for. She loved all of them and you could tell they loved her too. When she first moved in she had to be hospitalized for pneumonia and Nicole became her advocate using her contacts to make sure she was getting proper care. My mom thought the food was terrific. I know it's very subjective but she did gain about 25 pounds while she was there. If she didn't like what was on the menu they would make here something she liked. She was especially fond of the deserts. There was always something going on. She loved bingo, exercise with Norma , chair yoga, art, and dancing at cocktail hour. I told Nicol to save a room for me when its my time.

The owners are always available and go above and beyond to advocate for whatever is in the best interest of the residents. They are accommodating and unlike any other facility I've ever been to. He's made friends and after nearly 50 years in the same home, has made this his new home- a huge relief to his family and friends! Though it is not a new building it is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Most importantly the clinical team is well staffed and every member provided enthusiastic, supportive and compassionate care. The food is plentiful, varied and tasty - none of that bland hospital food here. As an example of the level of compassionate care, at each mealtime during which mom was visiting dad, a meal was provided for her too! Dad had a 90 minute physical therapy and a 90 minute occupational therapy session 5 days per week. The therapists were cheerful and professional. Credit to the team for helping dad to go from being unable to stand on his own at admission to being able to ambulate to the car on his own as he went home. Special thanks to the team of health aides who helped dad with the day to day. Unfailingly cheerful and attentive, this team enabled dad to recover to the best shape he's been in over a year. Lastly, thanks to the social worker and case management team for setting up discharge and home services. They were very accessible to us and patiently explained the plans and the process (more than once), leaving no stone unturned to ensure a smooth transition home. I was apprehensive about bringing dad to any rehab center, concerned about the quality of the facility and care. I am pleased to say that Regency Grande exceeded my expectations in every way and provided outstanding care. Thank you!

Im in healthcare and was literally begging them for the correct treatment. my loved one called me on her tackphone that I bought and asked for help ( they have no phones there !) My loved one had a horrible open wound and developed cellulitis on her left leg . The care is absolutely horrendous. She was in so much pain and her leg was so swollen and red and from the hip down I can't wait until she gets better and can go home Never send anyone there that you care about!

The Monroe County Ombudsman recommended me calling Adult Protective Services after hearing of just a couple of grace park's actions. Fraud. Theft. HIPAA Violation. Retaliation. Medication Errors. And more. I witnessed the owner of grace park coercing my loved one and lying to her. I give grace park written guidance on how to handle a person with a disorder where they perceive their supporters are against them. Instead grace park does the opposite and causes family trauma. I have been lied to in writing by several members of the management team. The only thing I would recommend regarding Grace Park is that I recommend you read the reviews on indeed.com from former employees including "Do not trust anyone there or what they say to your face" and "medication mistakes get swept under the rug" from June 2020. We thought grace park was there to take CARE of our loved one because she is a HUMAN BEING. grace park demonstrated they will instead take ADVANTAGE of her because she is a REVENUE STREAM. Zero compassion from owner or executive director or wellness department. Avoid. I've been in the healthcare industry for 30 years and never experienced an organization as incompetent or deceptive as grace park.

There is nothing like it anywhere. Our senior family and friends who visit are amazed at how nice a place to live Grace Park is, and they're comparing to places they know from having toured or visited other family or friends for years. The variety of housing choices makes the environment homey and accessible, the grounds and patios are attractive, it is easy to navigate around, parking is convenient, events are lovely (enjoyable and welcoming, with great entertainment and excellent food), staff are kind and responsive, I just can't say enough. My mother-in-law is at Clover Rest Home for sub-acute care. Her nightmare began right before…read moreChristmas with a fall and surgery. The first rehab that she was sent to was a complete disaster. They overmedicated her due to her dementia. They discharged her and she was back in the hospital within hours. After addressing all of the issues that were neglected, I did some research and found Clover. We live a distance and during our first round of choosing a rehab, we were given very little options due to COVID. The choices were limited. The discussions early on with the team at Clover were about feeding tubes and possibly Hospice care. Over the past month, not only is she eating, she is walking much better and is stronger as a result of their exceptional care. I only wish we had this as an option the first time around. There are no words to describe our gratitude for the care that they are giving her. They are treating her like family and also helping her to maintain her dignity while struggling with advanced dementia. I have worked in the senior care industry for over 20 years and I would be proud to work with the team at Clover.
