I found Sakina on Groupon. I am so happy with my highlights, she was super kind and professional. She explained everything fully before she did anything with my hair, got my feedback and exactly what I wanted. If you're looking for a new hairdresser/highlight artist in St. George area, I would recommend the salon. read more

Love Sekina B. Definitely will be coming back. The scalp massage felt awesome. Just the blowout made my hair look golden. I like her vibe. My hair is thinning and she made my hair feel thicker with how she cut it read more

Sekina is hands-down the best stylist out there! I have been seeing her for 15 years, and even after moving to the East Coast, I travel back just to get my hair done by her because she is the only person I trust. She does an amazing job, always listens to what I want, and never disappoints. Highly, highly recommend! read more

I came in needing a major hair correction, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how it turned out! She took the time to explain everything, was super patient, and somehow fixed what I thought was impossible. My hair looks and feels so much healthier, and the color came out exactly how I wanted. I finally feel confident in my hair again. Highly recommend if you need someone you can trust with a color correction! read more

I had my hair bleached twice before coming to Sekina. I found her through Groupon where there was an amazing deal for a haircut, balayage, tone, and deep conditioning for only $89. I was able to get an appointment with her the next day and was hopeful that I could get my desired result. In truth, I was looking to get a silver balayage but did not think that I could realistically get my hair to lift high enough to a point where it could actually be toned to silver. My hair became incredibly brassy and the previous stylist left my hair in almost an ombré fashion instead of a balayage. Sekina was very honest and upfront about what she expected the result to be and also let me know about prices for additional services before doing the work on me. When it came to the haircut, she gave me a recommendation for layers because I liked to style my hair with curls and said that it would give my hair more dimension--which was definitely what I was going for. Overall, I was sad that my hair did not lift the way that I would but the whole process that Sekina did to ensure that my needs were satisfied left me feeling well taken care of. I also love the fact that she is basically in a more independent salon in Phenix Suites. I don't really like going into a chain/bigger salon because I always feel as if the stylist is being forced to sell you products and services when you don't really want to buy them in the first place. Being in an independent salon allows Sekina the chance to recommend you products that she believes will work best for your specific hair type without making you feel uncomfortable or pressured into buying it. I will certainly be coming back here for future visits because of the great energy and honest disposition Sekina has. If you'd also like a referral, please let me know and I'd gladly be able to hook you up with a discount! ;) (5/100 - 2018) read more

Let me start by saying Sekina is MAGIC. If I could give her more stars, I definitely would. I found her on Groupon, and was scared because usually "you get what you pay for" not this time. I spent a beautiful 6 hours with this human. She was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted and explained the entire process to me. I'm SO happy with the results. I'll 1000% be back. My teenage daughter has been getting her hair done exclusively by Sekina for years now, one of the many reasons we always return to Sekina is due to her talent and exemplary work ethic! Sekina always accommodates our scheduling needs including special events like Homecoming and Prom, and more recently, trips home from college, Sekina's salon is private and centrally located, it's perfect for all occasions ! The bond they share is so special, my daughter trusts Sekina and so do I as I've watched my daughter introduce new and different ideas for her hair, Sekina listens and keeps the basics in place, never stretching a style that might result in damaged hair and taking the time to introduce new hair products, curling and wave techniques that help maintain volume, color and shine, making every visit a success and best of all, my daughter LOVES her hair !!!! read more

Doesn't pick up her phone or reply to messages when I request booking appointment. It's been a week now.

I feel so dissapointed by my experience with Sekina. Against my better judgement, I decided to use a Groupon to get my hair done after not getting it done for several months. I was extremely hopeful because of all of her good reviews however, I felt very dissatisfied with her service. She is a very nice person and I had a great time chatting with her while I was in the chair however, she was unable to give me the color and style I wanted. I understand that it could be difficult to reproduce a color and style as shown in a picture but I had showed it to her before she started and she said no problem that looks really cute. This gave me the impression she would be able to create a style very similar. My hair was 90% virgin hair with exception of very few old face-framing highlights. I felt like she had a very good canvas to work on. Unfortunately, she was so far off from what I wanted that I have to go get it redone. I texted her in less than 24 hours from leaving her salon and discussed my dissatisfaction and she has ignored my texts to go back in and get it redone. Its been 3 days from my last text and still no response. I finally decided just to go to somewhere else because I'm really embarrassed to wait much longer. I personally would not recommend her because of her really poor communication which started when I first tried to make an appointment. I had to text her several times to even get an initial appointment. I have been to other stylists that do a great job but got the color wrong but they have quickly made themselves available to make adjustments so that I can be happy. This did not seem to be her priority. Minus 1 star for terrible communication. Minus 1 star for not giving me the look I asked for. Minus 1 star for not following up and trying to correct it. read more

UM quite possibly the sweetest person on earth?? Got a groupon for highlights because I went in not knowing what I wanted. She told me that I would be happier with a balayage instead after seeing the pictures that I had showed her. Literally can't thank her enough for the whole process. She took her time and made sure that I was 100% happy with my hair (which im like 160% happy with). I usually don't splurge a lot when it comes to my hair and pampering myself in general but it's been a life changing experience nonetheless and I def recommend her! read more

Sekina B Salon Studio - um huge thank you to Sekina cause I have officially PEAKED with this hair. - Hair Extensions Near Me - St. George, Utah

Sekina has been doing my hair for over a year now. She started with doing my extensions for my wedding last year. It was absolutely stunning. My hair was longer and fuller and I loved it! After I removed my extensions, I decided to experiment with different hairstyles. I went lighter one visit. The next visit I decided to cut 4 inches off. And most recently I decided to go even shorter with a textured bob. Each time I left the studio, I was so excited to show off my new look. And every time I was flooded with compliments! I can't express how amazing and fun it is to work with Sekina. Whether I decide to have my hair light or dark, short or long, I know I can trust her to do a superb job. :) read more

First of all, if there were more stars I would absolutely give Sekina a hundred!! She is magic. I found her on groupon and was hesitant about going at first, but she is SO talented and 100% knows what she is doing. My hair was super dry after I bleached it a few times. I didn't think it was possible to get it back to where it was when it was healthy, but Sekina made it possible. HIGHLY recommend coming to see her you won't regret it. :) read more

Highly recommend Sekina for haircut and balayage. I found her on Groupon. She replied immediately as I contacted her and scheduled the appointment. I loved the quality of her work and the quality of her customer service. No wait time once I got there. Also, she is very nice to talk to so time flies by and you end up with a great hairstyle. read more

I bought a Groupon and tried to call her. She did not answer and it went straight to voicemail which basically said that I should text her for an appointment. I texted her about an appointment in the afternoon and it took her until night time to reply. I immediately texted her after that and it has been 17 hours or so and she still hasn't replied. I called her one more time but she did not answer. I think if you are running a business and if you are selling groupons, you should be more responsive to your customers. If you are unable to get back to your customers on time, then please don't sell Groupons. As others say, you might be a good hair stylist but your lack of professionalism and unresponsiveness is disappointing. read more

I found Sekina through my sister, who found her through Groupon. She is truly a talented hair stylist! I had a Balayage done. Sekina was not only warm and kind, but also perceptive about what kind of hairstyle would look best on me. You can tell she cares about you and the results she gives you. She cut my hair and spent her time blow-drying, doing the Balayage, and styling it. All the while, she had a great, caring and positive attitude. Thank you so much, Sekina! I love my hair! read more

I bought a Groupon for a balayage and haircut. I was a little nervous since its hard for me to trust someone with my hair... Sekina was great, right when I sat on the chair she ask me the history of the things I have done to my hair. That right there was a A+ it shows she's careful with what she does and very honest. Loved everything the balayage, and haircut. Not just that had a great chat with her. Very nice person. Thank you!!!! read more

Sekina is a the best in OC! I have had my hair cut, colored, and extensions done with her since 2009. It's so hard to find a stylist that sets themselves apart from th rest. She keeps me educated on the latest trends and i can trust her with my more mature clients too. She always will give her opinion on an age appropriate style and color for your hair. My hair has also grown since I've been going to her. She always makes sure Im using the right products for my long, slightly unmanageable hair. read more

I've actually written a review about Sekina before, in 2013!! You'll note that the previous review was 5 stars, and three years later, still 5 stars! Sekina is a supremely talented artist. She really cares about hair, style, and her customers. She really takes the time to listen to you and look at pictures with you so she can deliver the most perfect cut, color, and blow dry ever, every single time. Sekina has an exceptional eye for structure and color, and I have never been so proud of my hair! We've done a bunch of different things, and each time, I have been blown away! Sekina is versatile and skilled, you'll never be disappointed no matter what craziness you throw at her. In going to Sekina's salon (or wherever she may be, I follow her everywhere), I can also say she is an amazingly generous and accommodating person, super funny, and very caring. I am 100% comfortable in her capable hands, and getting my hair done has become one of my favorite things. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Sekina! read more
