If I could give negative stars I would. Purchased Dura Supreme kitchen cabinets from Seigle's Cabinets. We put in a "reservation" (official order for cabinets without having signed the contract yet) for cabinets on 5/26/22. Working with our designer Amber was a joke, she was disorganized, scattered, and not proactive. In person meeting with her were left unfinished and very little was accomplished. She was constantly making mistakes. Forgetting to add requested items to the design, never realizing on her own, it was our responsibility to make sure she did her job. We had asked for solid wood cabinets and we were directed by Amber and the president of Seigle's to Dura Supreme cabinets. Amber said they met all of my requirements, solid wood cabinets with dove tail solid wood drawer boxes as well as capable of doing mirrored mullion cabinet doors. After signing the contract there was no communication unless there was an issue, then it was a mad dash to find a solution. We were given an estimated delivery date of 11/24/22. 10/4 Amber called to ask if we'd like our cabinets early- 12/5. I was taken aback because "early" was actually late. The week before delivery I'm told one cabinet will not be arriving (backorder) the remaining were delivered on 12/5. We only opened the tops of boxes to check measurements and verify colors were correct. Two of the wall cabinets didn't have finished sides and we there was missing light rail, they had to be reordered and didn't arrive for 5 weeks. After 33 weeks of waiting for cabinets we were told the last should be arriving, so our contractors began. Our cabinets were delivered by seigles into our home where they sat unopened and un disturbed until they were ready to be installed. 1/9 our contractors begin opening wall cabinet boxes and there were dents dings chips on many of the cabinets. The damage was underneath the protective packing provided for transport, many items were dented or damaged behind the fixed and secure full overlay doors. When the contractors began opening the base cabinet boxes almost every cabinets sides (the area that meets the floor and the cabinets stand on) were broken. Not just chipped or dented, I mean broken falling apart crumbing into pieces. How would solid wood boxes fall apart so easy? Well well surprise surprise we didn't in fact order solid wood cabinets Amber actually ordered us furniture board cabinets!! Requested items were missing flip down drawers and tray dividers and the kitchen sink base had the wrong colored finished sides!! I called Mark Seigle the president of Seigle's cabinets told him about the mix up and the broken cabinets he said he would get back to me and I emailed a few pictures. I made a photo file in my phone called broken cabinets with 80+ pictures. The next morning I drove to Seigle's and showed Mark the pictures. He scheduled a site visit to see in person the terrible cabinets we received. We've been told by DS and S that cabinet's apparently don't need feet to stand on so the broken bases are irrelevant. The cabinet boxes are not square and joints overlap or fall short, it looks like a child assembled the cabinets. We're told caulk will cover the uneven gaps along the crown moulding and light rail. Nothing will be done about the unsquare and improperly assembled cabinet boxes. Corners of finished cabinets are dented chipped and peeling- were told a furniture repair company will address these issues. There's stuff stuck in the paint on many of the painted doors with cracks and open joints on just as many. Some drawer boxes don't fully retract or retract unevenly. They have to reorder items that came wrong and are unusable, so it will be another 6 weeks wait. When I asked for the damaged and crooked cabinets to be replaced and made correctly and at least be made square, I was told no. To Seigle's and Dura Supreme it's totally acceptable to sell someone damaged brand new cabinets and offer no correction. read more

First of all, the Mark S review is from Mark Seigle, so of course he gives himself a stellar review. Now a bit of reality.... When you place an order with them, you only get drawings with the cabinet model numbers, no other information about what the actual cabinets are OR any filler strips, moldings, special materials, etc... This will be important later in the review. Now for all of the mishaps: 1. incorrect cabinet ordered/sent - had to be reordered and sent 2. Filler strips for upper cabinets never shipped - We had to use some molding meant for some other areas to use while they order us new fillers 3. Still waiting on the replacement moldings from above at the time of this review 4. Filler strips for in between beverage fridges ordered/shipped incorrectly - had to re-order and reship 5. Cabinet doors arrived un-milled and missing hinges - had to be picked back up and milled and have hinges placed on them and re-shipped back. What this all means is delay, delay, delay. My wife calls first to talk to sales lady who always is on vacation on Mondays and returns messages sometimes afterwards. Her response was that my contractor is at fault since he didn't open the boxes and verify everything was shipped properly. WE were supposed to verify the pieces against the incomplete drawing that we were given at the beginning of this review!!! She was high. Now the wife calls and talks to Mark S. Basically he says sometimes its the manufacturer, sometimes its Seigles. I don't really care since i bought the cabinets from Seigles not the manufacturer. If he has an issue with the manufacturer, he needs to address that with them. Since all we lost was time, they weren't sympathetic or really cared what happened. They have all of our money and we are still waiting for some of the correct pieces. People, these are semi-custom cabinets, not the type you get at big box stores to begin with. You are going to spend a lot of money for them. Do yourself a favor and look around for custom cabinet suppliers. They are all over the chicagoland area. It is even worth a little driving to get the value for your money. read more

I used Seigle's twice now--once for my bathroom remodel a few years ago and once a few months ago for my entryway. I got extremely personal service and the salesperson was thorough with helping me plan the design. The price was right, the process was smooth, and I love the idea of supporting a family-owned business. And of course, I love the results of both projects! Highly recommended. read more

After carefully planing my cabinet layout around existing plumbing I went to Mike Manke at Seigles Cabinet Center and placed my order. When the cabinets arrived and were unpacked we discovered scratched on the doors and frames. The finish on the cabinets was well below my expectations it had dust and dirt in it! To top it off they would not work with the existing plumbing! After several calls to the owner I was offered a touch up kit and was told the plumbing layout was not Seigles problem! $763.00 in plumbing changes later we were able to make them work as planned. We have been enjoying our new kitchen for a few months now. The service at Seigle's was and is superior. We had a small issue with one of the drawers recently. We called and later that day we received a call to set up an appointment with a service msn. While we were having the kitchen done everyone who we spoke with was friendly and helpful. On a project as big a gutting a kitchen and starting over, one has to expect a few snafus. Sally handled everything and kept me calm. I would and do recommend anyone to use them for any project. read more

They have solutions for virtually every budget. They can do counter tops too. I'd suggest you call and ask for Joe Niewinski . He is a PRO. He has a long career interfacing with contractors / builders but is equally comfortable dealing with the end home owner. Joe will look at your budget and render the best options enabling you to choose which is best. And his variety of products is impressive. I know that considering new cabinets can be exciting yet a little overwhelming. Joe has a great sense of function and flow.
