Customers run the gamut from techies grabbing a to-go coffee, to people with laptops holding business meetings, to retirees, to parents with kids. Prices are reasonable -- drinks are definitely priced cheaper here than a lot of places. There are breakfast plates and then many things to choose from in the vitrine: Brotchen, pretzels, croissants, donuts, cookies, brownies, pudding. Plus Borek, a few salads and savory lunch items. Espresso machine, hot drinks and a cooler of cold drinks to choose from. Right by the Strassenbahn stop for Prenzenlauer Allee/Danziger Strasse, northbound. Proprietor is cheerful and kind. We had some very good coffee with friendly service and a wonderful chocolate layered cake. (It was the only cake in the display that looked enticing) They have seats outside which would be lovely when the weather is warmer, especially given the view of the plaza . They do have blankets for the chilly days. But we were badly in need of thawing out, so opting for warmer Confines insides was a no brainer

Nothing is spectacular, but it's convenient.
