Excellence & Perfection in Dentistry --is what Carlos Valdes delivers. Dr Valdes is an extremely…read morewarm and caring professional. During procedures and even a cleaning, he is totally tuned into my wants and needs. He checks in constantly whether I'm experiencing any pain or discomfort during procedures. He has a very gentle touch and approach to each procedure. I've been seeing him for many years and he's done a fantastic job with crowns, with implants, with whitening and Matching Tooth Colors so in the end everything about my smile looks natural, and everything about the functioning of my teeth and my bite is as perfect as can be. Dr Valdes also spends a lot of time examining my mouth, tongue, and all surrounding areas,,,including lymph nodes in the neck...just in case there's a medical condition that needs addressing. His referrals, in case there's a need for a particular kind of specialist (which happened twice over the years) are top notch. There's not enough time and space to explain more about his referrals. Suffice it to say the dentists/specialists he sent me to were as good as Valdes himself. Lastly, he takes a great deal of time explaining each and every procedure, as well as best practices at home, so I maintain the level of perfection he delivers. I am proud to show a really nice smile with straight teeth and natural looking bright color. I've had plenty of dental work over the last 30 years and without a doubt, Carlos is top of the heap!! And you'll like him very much...he's a gentle and calming light in a city where people are always moving around at a very fast pace. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARLOS VALDES! You will not be disappointed. Avoid him at all cost! The worst dental treatment I ever had in my life…read more First of all, he is always running late by more than 1 hour! I came to visit the doctor as I live close to his office, and I needed a regular cleaning treatment. I made a scan session and he confirmed that no additional treatment was needed. However after one year, he said that was looking again for the scan results and found a cavity! One year latter that I did the scan!!! I thought it would be impossible to have a cavity for so long and not having any tooth pain, but he was supposed to be the expert! Then I came back to the office, off course he was late again by 1 hour, and the cavity wasn't there anymore! I was worried about the risk of having a cavity, even without any pain. Therefore, I went to a different doctor that also scan my entire mouth and didn't find anything. I will definitely never come back to his office again! And you should do the same!

I've been going to him for several years, had multiple cavities filled, and am very happy with all of the results. It's calming to be in his care, rather then feeling tense, I feel at ease and completely calm. To add, his office is unlike any other dental office ive been too, it's not intimidating and filled with beautiful art work. But above his kindness and great work, what I appreciate the most about Dr. Saland is his honesty when it comes to what you really need done and what you do not. So many times I've been told conflicting information from other offices, and even recommended what seemed like unnecessary work, but not with Dr. Saland. Also when your sitting in his chair, he tells you everything he is about to do and or doing, he walks you through every step to ease the tension of the unknown. I couldn't recommend him more. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Kraus' work is matchless and life changing! He completely transformed my smile! I heard that he…read morewas the best in NYC, but now that he's completed my teeth, I would argue he's the best on the planet! After many years of grinding, jaw clenching and coffee drinking (standard practice for New Yorkers) my teeth were far from what they were in my 20s. When I spoke to Dr Kraus he 'really' listened (a lost art in my opinion). He listened and he looked at my teeth, then he listened and looked at them some more... And I realized that in all my years, I had never actually had a dentist take the time to really 'get to know' my teeth! During our conversation, I expressed to Dr Kraus, that among other things, I was bothered by an asymmetry with my lips that made it look like my teeth were uneven. I had actually spoken to a world-famous plastic surgeon about this, but he said it would be too tricky to fix. And guess what?!! Not only did Dr Kraus restore my teeth to the perfect length, improve their alignment, color and shape, but he also FIXED THE LIP ASYMMETRY! He did it by building the porcelain out slightly on two teeth. Truly Amazing! I simply could not be happier with the result - I now LOVE my smile!! To bad there are only 5 stars to give, because I give Dr Kraus 10,000 stars!!
