So I did the most convenient thing, I did a mobile deposit. When I got through the mobile deposit it promptly informed me that there is a 3 day hold on it. On a payroll check. The only money I have. Are you serious??? And when I called just now, the agent told me that she will "submit it" and "maybe" they can take the 3 day hold off. Mobile deposit should be a convenient solution to depositing a check but it really isn't if they put hold on PAYROLL CHECKS!! Personal checks I can understand but a $200 payroll check? Come on. If I wasn't going to work right now I would be in a lobby closing these accounts. I am not an old member at this institution so there is no sweat off my back to go somewhere else. 3 day hold on a payroll check. WTF!!!

I've thought about moving to another bank at least 10 times because of the often rude way I…read moresometimes get treated. 80% of the tellers are nice and helpful as were Brandon and Nick. However there are a few people who have a very harsh way of speaking and really should be given some additional training on how to interact with people. If it weren't so difficult to move everything I would have done so as a result of some of these interactions. If you want a consistently friendly bank, I would think twice about choosing this one.

I realize it's not often they are seen anymore, but instead of dismissing me they could have done their jobs and figured it out?! What a novel concept! Anyway, I then had to drive to another BoA (Fayetteville) and the staff did their jobs and EASILY assisted me. Kudos to Fayetteville but I will definitely avoid this BoA in the future.

Despite assurances of a 'couple weeks' to closing, weeks turned into silence, requiring escalations to the branch manager to get basic updates. Their staffing constraints are unacceptable. If they're unwilling to address workload by adding personnel, they should adjust their loan volume to ensure existing commitments are met. This is simply not an acceptable way to treat customers. When I'm sure this bank has fumbled the loan. I will post the names of the people within this bank that you should stay far away from. They do not do their jobs and blame the underwriters for the slow process Edit: The bank requested additional information regarding our experience. We promptly complied with their request. While they acknowledged receipt of the information, no specific actions or timelines for resolution were provided. Our rate lock date is soon approaching! It's possible that within 2 weeks we will be going to Empower, like we should have from the beginning!! While I understand that deadlines mean nothing to banks, they DO mean something to people that have to ask banks to borrow money. I hope your bank learns to understand what a deadline is and why it's so important to keep your word when committing to a deadline.
