I preface this review as a "stoooopid American" who clearly knows nothing about "fine dining" in Switzerland.
However, this is the hotel restaurant we're about to stay at. We arrived a bit early before we could check in and thought we'd grab some lunch while we wait. Furthermore, we didn't have breakfast and drove down from Zurich.
I wanted a simple burger, and that's not what I got... you be the judge based on the photo. Impressive and large, great presentation, and not bad. But 34 dollars good? Not even close. It's the hotel restaurant syndrome where everything is a bit overpriced...
My daughter had the same thing and we shared some fries. No sauce at all for the fries, and we were never checked on to see if we needed anything. The service was really poor! You'd think for a 34 dollar burger they'd at least provide good service, but no such luck.
Unless you have money falling out of your behind, and feel like rubbing elbows with others who share the same affliction, I'd avoid this place.
We'll see how the hotel part fairs compared to the restaurant side of the house.
