    Sheila has been my go to for the last several years even when I strayed away to other providers. The atmosphere at SEE Eyewear is cool, eclectic and has a unique selection of specs! The staff makes it even more special. Let me tell you about Sheila, she's absolutely the best at styling, selecting and bringing out the best in her clients! She hypes me up so good and selects fun frames for me! Her selections are always a hit! She's extremely accommodating and listens to her clients! This time I brought my bestie with me so that she could "upgrade" her specs and experience SEE eyewear's magnificence! It was Trunk Show time, there was a DJ, plenty of new/shiny frames on a bustling, sunny day in Georgetown. We had an appointment with Dr. Scranton, who is fabulous, the eye exams weee thorough and on point. On to the selections, I prepped Sheila with interested colors, blue, yellow/gold, green, tortoise, she didn't disappoint and pulled several frames for us! Thru the process of elimination I got it down to 3 pair but let's be honest, I wanted them all!! I ended up with the gold sunnies in the pic and a tortoise pair that I will receive soon! My bestie however is now a client of Sheila's for life! She normally wears, small frameless glasses but we changed that in this visit! She's kind of shy so I only have a pic of the bad ass blue frames sunnies that provides amazing coverage over precious eyes! She's pleased with her RX and claims that she can see Jupiter! LOL. It's a testament to this upgrade and right size the frame for her face! She's already given Sheila free range to call her if she sees something new and unique for her to purchase! I highly recommend Sheila at SEE Eyewear, she's professional, fun and caring! She could teach a lesson to others in all professions on how to listen and take care of clients! She's an amazing person.

    If you are looking for fun, unique frames that will fit your personality then See Eyewear is the place for you! They have a large selection of frames ranging from very fun and bold to conservative as well. Their frames are handmade and they only make 100 of each one total, as in to sell throughout all of their locations! Dr. Scranton is awesome! He is extremely professional, but has a great personality and sense of humor as well. He really listens to all of your needs and takes his time with you and gives a thorough exam. If you have not felt excited about your glasses, then you definitely need to check SEE out.

    I'm so excited about my new glasses!!! My wife went there a year ago and got the most stylish glasses I've seen her wear and she was looking so sexy! I made a note- gotta get to SEE eyewear. So finally, it was my time in December. She told me to see Sheila. The experience with Sheila was so AMAZING! She was so nice. You have got to ask for her. When I arrived for my appt, she started me off going through all the pairs available. Let me try some and then came back and said- "what have you picked" let me see!" After seeing my picks, she said honey I have some more options and came with the best fashion choices!! She set me on track. I loved how they looked and got two pair with my insurance coverage! Got my glasses in January and all I can say is in the words of Beyoncé-I SLAY!!! LOL! I have never gotten so many compliments on glasses. I'm feeling good and looking good. Thank You Sheila!!! I'll definitely be back to See Eyewear!

    I'm a gal that likes a little pizzazz to my spectacles; so when I saw what SEE had to offer I was intrigued. Unfortunately, they are somewhat lacking in customer service. I walked in stood around and was ignored so I went all the way to the back of the shop where the doctor was sitting(playing on his phone, I might add) and NO ONE, NOT ONE PERSON stopped me to ask me if I needed. help. Once I got the doctors attention and told him I was here for my appointment, he sat me down to examine my eyes. It wasn't that great of an appointment and he really didn't listen to my concerns that much. He just finished my exam and shipped me out onto the showroom with Rx in hand to purchase my glasses. Thanks Doc! The person I was working with to pick my glasses was pleasant enough. I think they have a great selection of unique frames and they are pretty reasonably priced. From what I understand they are all designed by SEE, so you won't fine Ralph Lauren or Donna Karen frames here, but that was okay by me, as long as they are well made(which it seems they are) I'm fine with that. Any-hoovers, I picked out two funky frames,made my purchase(they gave me 1/2 off the second pair) and was on my merry way. Because of my love for these frames, this is the ONLY reason they got that third star. Did I have a mind-blowing experience. Nope, not even close. Will I return, possibly will, but I will more than likely just bring my Rx from another doctor and just purchase my frames there.

    Lovvvvve the staff here. If ever a standard of excellence deserved to be set for eyewear boutiques, this would be it. Greeted by Meron within moments of walking in and never felt neglected, thanks to their expert juggling of multiple customers. Checked my existing glasses for prescription strength reference. The frames they stock are trendy and the friendly folks who work here are very earnest about finding you a pair you're interested in. Despite the small store space, Frank combed through their entire inventory for me, knew exactly what they did/didn't have, and provided honest feedback balanced with a great sense of humor. Decent background music and prices on par with Georgetown. This round of selections weren't quite my style, but the options change over regularly enough that I'll gladly patronize them again.

That shouldn't happen since I always get the extra protection, and I use a special lens cloth to clean them. Glasses are all but useless once that happens. I don't recall that ever happening before. The prescription sunglasses they made for me, at substantial expense, are an optical mess. Wavy lines, visible color prism, ill-fitting--unbearable. Gonna try another place this time now that I have a baseline.​

Some have great knowledge bases and answer questions on eye care with in depth, accurate, and actionable advice. Dr. Glasser is both, and arguably the best at both "sides of the coin" of any optometrist I've visited in my life. Importantly, Dr. Glasser and his entire staff are efficient and pleasant. They honestly try to make your visit as pleasant as possible. In an age where healthcare tends to be actively hostile to the notion of customer service, it is refreshing.

My issue is the way I was treated on my last visit by his assistant after it became apparent to her that I would not be buying frames or lenses from the practice. Her attitude immediately changed when I asked for a prescription. She stood up, went to ring up my copayment, and when she returned with the prescription she remained standing and was abrupt with me when I asked her to explain the change in my prescription, which was in a format I was not familiar with based on what I received in prior visits. I'm an educated person who wants to know how things work and what numbers actually mean, not merely to be told that "any qualified optician will understand" the prescription. I was made to feel stupid and like I was an imposition so I left and fed the prescription into ChatGPT which politely explained it to me, including how a progressive prescription can be translated into single vision distance and reading prescriptions, and what the numbers mean. AI was more polite and patient with me than the assistant. Despite having no issues with the doctor himself, I will not be returning to this practice in the future. The barriers between patients and medical information are evaporating due to AI. Doctors would be well advised to ensure that they and their staffs at least match the courtesy of ChatGPT. Update: In response to Dr. Glasser's comment, all I can say is that it would have taken his assistant less than a minute to sit down and politely explain to me the meaning of the numbers. Regardless of whether I'm dealing with an optometrist or a cardiologist, I take it upon myself to gain a thorough understanding of my heath, which is what ChatGPT provided and the assistant did not. If the doctor doesn't want to take constructive feedback on such a simple point, then I suppose that my decision to go elsewhere is the right one.
