    "Family member" (purposely not named here), was fitted with contact lenses in February, 2018. The…read moremoment this was done, ******* told Dr. he wanted ACUVUE OASYS. Dr. said, "they don't make them for astigmatism". He gave ******* contacts that were uncomfortable in the very beginning. Several weeks ago I called to tell Enid Vision Center that ******* was having problems and discomfort in the right eye. I was told, ******* has an astigmatism in that eye and now wears a thicker lens, ******* will have to get used to it, if he cannot, the only other option is glasses". END OF CONVERSATION! ******* has had, near constant headaches, since being fitted in these lenses and has missed work due to a blinding headache and nausea. (4-18-19) ******* saw a new eye Dr. today and was told, "YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ASTIGMATISM IN YOUR RIGHT eye and that lens is very over powered, that is what is causing you problems with your eye and headaches (lens is very thick). Charge was ANOTHER $35 & was given the proper prescription. Vision Insurance company was called but since the boxes of INCORRECT CONTACTS had been opened, ENID VISION CENTER, could not send the contacts back. NOW THE POINT OF THIS REVIEW IS..... #1. The Dr. prescribed the wrong lenses. #2. They had the gall to blame us for not saying ******* needs to come in. ( to place blame, I am sure) They said, "all you had to do is ask". IT IS NOT OUR JOB, WHO ARE WE TO TELL THE DR'S OFFICE WHAT NEEDS DONE? #3. Enid Vision Center used up all of *******'s vision benefits and took $20 out of our pocket. THEY NEVER OFFERED TO CUT A BREAK ON THE COST OF NEW LENSES OR ANYTHING! SO.....VSP told*******they were filling out a report on Enid Vision Center because THEY WERE REQUIRED TO SINCE ******* WAS INJURED DUE TO IMPROPER CARE AND THEY REINSTATED *******'s 2019 VISION BENEFITS SO THE CORRECT LENSES AND VISION EXAM WOULD BE PAID FOR BY INSURANCE. ENID VISION CENTER LOST ******* AND MYSELF AS PATIENTS TODAY. THANK YOU TO VSP!!!!!
