She provided great recommendations for drinks and food; and phenomenal service too. We were seated at the bar tables, which was comfortable! There's a cushioned banquette and chairs, and you have a view of the bar. To drink, my parents had their essentials wine flight. It's 3 wines: One sparkling white, one rose, and one lighter red. All of them were delicious! The favorite was the sparkling white. I had a non-alcoholic rose that was perfectly bubbly and fruity without being too sweet. To eat, we started with a half dozen oysters. They were on the briny and salty side, which we like! The mignonette served along was yummy too. We then had the following entrees: Croque Monsieur with a sunny egg, Lobster Benedict (special), and the quiche Lorraine. The Croque sandwich was decadent and the side salad was a great complement to it. I had to remind them about the egg, but it was brought out promptly. The lobster Benedict was rich and luxurious, and the potatoes paired nicely. The quiche Lorraine was custardy (as advertised) and had a nice balance of bacon and other flavors. We ended our meal with dessert and coffee. We enjoyed the pistachio Mille Feuille and the Opera cake. The Mille feuille was recommended by Maddie and I see why! It's creamy, flavorful, crunchy--such a unique dessert! The opera cake is perfect for chocolate lovers. The coffee was delicious and piping hot. You can even get it to go! Make sure to check out Delille En Ville for brunch/lunch if you're looking for a nice place with a good variety of dishes and wines!

They have a variety of ready made and prepped meals, from sandwiches, to their "Sofa Dinners", to food that just needs to be heated up in the microwave, such as their butter chicken and rice, to their brined pork chops and bavett steak. They also have some beverages, like cold brews, beers and cider, they carry wine, of course. You can find cute cards for different occasions, and things that make great gifts. I can't stop buying their artichoke and goat cheese dip along with their crostini for dipping. I highly recommend coming in just to browse, but pretty sure you'll leave with something!

I think I wandered around the store looking at everything with my jaw to the floor on how cool it was. You can just see and feel the thoughtfulness of the carefully curated items in the store. They've got all the best condiments, candies, drinks, and even a charcuterie section. I was also blown away by the prepared food options - they have so many great grab and go items for lunch and also pre-made dinner options that you can just pop right into the oven. I'm definitely going to frequent here when I don't bring a lunch to work!

Three generations of the DeLaurenti family oversaw it until 2001 when three local Seattleites took over the reins for the past 25 years to date, Pat McCarthy, Matt Snyder, and Nate Plutko. I'm a Washingtonian since 1973 and have enjoyed seeing this at the corner of 1st and Pike. Numerous visits, but my most recent detour was on 2/16/26. I love gawking at the various sundries and specialty items available especially the chocolates, spices, sauces, olive oils, pasta, ad naseum. Just wander along each aisle, you'll understand and be inspired. Also, what an expansive meat and cheese case with knowledgeable staff for your charcuterie needs! Upstairs you can find a decent selection of wine and spirits and an apertivo spot to have a glass and a bite. I was full from my pasta bowl at nearby Pasta Casalinga, but was eyeing the charcuterie cone. Imagine tasty nibbles to snack on while wandering the rest of the market. Back on the main floor towards 1st Avenue, there's a busy espresso bar and where one can get an Italian panini or pizza slices to go. Highly recommended while at Pike Place Market. Buon Appetito!

The biggest store is Pete's, which is located next to Lake Union. It is a few blocks west of Eastlake Avenue. Just walk down to the end of East Lynn Street and you will find it. The selection at Pete's is that of a grocery store. Though I wouldn't consider it a supermarket since they don't have fresh meat items though they do have produce. Prices are on the higher side, but I would consider the product selection to be somewhat upscale. Not just mainstream brands. You can find some specialty items sprinkled around the store. The store has a good wine section, with one aisle devoted to it. There is also a deli in the back. They have a selection of prepared deli sandwiches available on weekdays. The quality is decent, but they are a bit pricey. Each portion is the size of a half sandwich. Quality wise, I do prefer the sandwiches at the newly opened Otherside Market nearby, which are made to order. But a sandwich here would do in a pinch if I am looking for a quick bite. Overall, I think this store is alright. It has a better selection than the mini marts in the neighborhood. But you will find cheaper groceries by shopping at a large grocery like QFC or Safeway instead. It does in a pinch though if you need a random item and live in the area.
