The experience of seeing and communing with these beautiful wolves is quite wonderful and amazing. There were six that came out and mingled with us, as we learned about their different personalities. The guides were acting as members of the pack, they were also well integrated. An amazing experience you will remember for a long while.

Texts cancelling our reservation one day prior

I'm super disappointed. I planned a trip for my mom for Mother's Day and the one thing she really really wanted to do is the wolf sanctuary. She's older and can't really go on many hikes, so this was something we planned months in advance. We got a text one day before our reservation that they had cancelled our reservation due to "unforeseen circumstances". They offered to reschedule, but then when we attempted to reschedule for a different date that week, we were told they were completely booked. All I can say is, have a back up plan if this is on your itinerary, because they aren't very accommodating.

This was such an amazing experience, I don't think anything could be better! The wolves are taken care of and treated very well and the staff is very kind and patient. They make sure you and the wolves feel comfortable during the whole experience. I appreciate that this is an 18 and up activity, making it very calming and you get more of a spiritual/meaningful experience. 10/10 would go back the next time I am visiting Sedona!!

We had an amazing, wonderful experience like no other. It's a small group with plenty of wolf interaction. I highly recommend it.

We absolutely adored this place! Such a great concept! My friend had told me about this place years…read moreago and I'm so happy my girls and I were able to experience this place! Admission is $30/adult. I bought my tickets online and taxes and fees were about $15. So completely worth it. We opted to drive thru once, then parked to use their restrooms which were clean and well stocked. Then we drove through one more time before they closed that section--last car through at 4pm and the park closes at 5:30pm. The second time we went through, they had just fed all the animals so they were super active! They'll come right up to your car, which can feel a little intimidating. That's the closest I ever want to be to a bear or a wolf! They have the animal areas themed and everything is so cute! The walk through exhibits are great as well. Amazing gift shop. So cool to watch the grizzlies as well. If you're ever in Williams, AZ, I cannot recommend checking this place out more! You will not regret it!

Want to see a bison, wolf or bear up close and personal? Come to Bearizona!…read more This is part drive through park/zoo and part walk about zoo. You stay in your car to pay your admission, and you are then let through an entrance gate type thing. You drive past mountain goats/Dall sheep, deer, donkeys, and other not-so-scary animals. As you make your way through the park, you pass through multiple cordoned off areas, each with different animals: multiple bear species, wolves, and bison, to name a few. When in THESE particular areas, you are required to have all your windows up and your sun/moon roof closed for your safety. It's normally bumper to bumper, so you get to be in this part of the park a fairly decent amount of time. At one point, you drive out into a prairie area where the bison are, and you can stay out there longer, as even though there is a "road" you stay on, others can drive around you if they want to get a move on. After seeing all of these big animals, you pass through another gate and into a parking lot. You can either leave the premises, or park and go into the walking zoo. In this portion are smaller animals like eagles, otters, turkey, badgers....mostly North American wildlife. However, there is an area with jaguars in it. There a few small places to get a souvenir or a soda, and then there is the very VERY large gift shop. The gift shop has a large restaurant in it (we didn't go in), and a few small rooms that act like a museum of sorts. Also throughout, in various sneaky areas are large cages/tanks with animals in them like snakes. The gift shop carries just about anything you can imagine from the typical logo shirts to animal themed toys and post cards. But then, it carries other things like hand made pottery mugs and pocket knives. Overall, this was a neat place to visit. You can tell the animals are well cared for, and all enclosures are clean and mimic the animals' natural habitats quite nicely. Each one has a nice amount of space and places for the animals to escape the view of guests when they want to. Bearizona is located almost exactly across from AZ-64 North, the main road to Grand Canyon National Park, just a short drive from Flagstaff. 14/2026

Grand Canyon Deer Farm - Deer Farm

    Grand Canyon Deer Farm

The Day I Was Mugged by Deer (In the Best Way)…read more If you're driving through Northern Arizona and see a sign for Grand Canyon Deer Farm, pull over immediately. Trust me. This place is basically a 10-acre animal park where the deer run the show... and they know exactly who has snacks. The moment you walk in with a cup of feed, you instantly become the most popular human in the entire forest. Deer appear out of nowhere like fuzzy little snack detectives. One minute you're calmly feeding one deer, the next you're surrounded by a polite but very determined deer mob inspecting your pockets, shoelaces, and possibly your soul. And honestly... it's amazing. The deer are incredibly friendly and will happily eat right out of your hand. You can pet them, feed them, and get pictures that look like you're starring in your own Disney movie. But it's not just deer. There are wallabies, llamas, goats, bison, peacocks, and other animals wandering around the farm, so it feels like a mini zoo adventure where everything is up close and interactive. Admission is very reasonable for such a unique experience: * Adults: about $20 * Seniors: about $17 * Children: about $12 * Kids under 3 are free They are open daily from 9 AM - 6 PM (spring/summer) and 10 AM - 5 PM in winter, making it an easy stop if you're heading to the Grand Canyon or exploring Williams. And don't skip the gift shop when you walk in. It's actually really cool and full of niche treasures -- crystals, jewelry, souvenirs, gifts, and all kinds of fun stuff. It's the kind of place where you walk in thinking you'll just look around and somehow leave holding crystals, a bracelet, and a Route 66 souvenir you didn't know you needed. The whole place has this quirky, old-school Arizona roadside attraction vibe that makes it even more charming. If you love animals, road trip stops, or the idea of being gently harassed by extremely adorable deer for snacks... this place is a must. Overall Rating: 10/10 would absolutely get surrounded by snack-seeking deer again.

I would recommend each person in your party has a cup of feed, because that is how you are going to become the most popular person on the farm! The deer will be all over you if you have food, and they may nip at your shirts and shoelaces, but they were very gentle. I would highly recommend wearing clothes that you are okay with getting dirty and possibly torn! Don't wear any loose articles of clothing, have anything hanging out of your pockets, and tuck in your shoelaces! Bring some quarters, as well, because there are dispensers around the farm with corn for the deer (we noticed that some of them preferred just the corn and did not care for the regular feed). We couldn't have loved our experience more and will be back again! Bonus points for the employee of the month, the lovely calico cat that was in the gift shop! She was a gem! 5/5 would recommend for families and animal lovers! You can easily spend a couple hours here.

Each tent has its own bed/beds, linens, extra blankets, towels, dresser, cooler with a pound of ice/gallon of water, as well as large space heater and two battery powered lanterns. Bathroom/restroom are shared, and are both located inside of a separate tent. There is running hot water and flushing toilet, special soap provided to keep the greywater clean. Open fires are not permitted within the enclosure, but there is a lovely propane powered fire pit that provides ambiance and fire for s'mores at night. Camping ware is provided, so just bring your own food to cook. There is a propane powered portable stove as well. Don't expect a BBQ grill, tho. Sam, the porter, makes coffee and cocoa for everyone. A small continental breakfast of fruit and muffins is provided. Highly recommend chatting with him, he is an outdoor survival specialist and teaches classes. Guests are locked into the enclosure at night, and unfortunately cannot wander off to explore. There are some games such as Jenga and Cornhole, but ultimately this little village is ideal for couples just wanting some time to connect. The greatest thing about the experience is all of the incredible animal sounds you get to hear at night while snuggled in your tent...such as lions and wolves. In the morning you awake to the sweet sounds of birds chirping. Throughly enjoyed myself here, and have already done it twice.
