The horses were very well mannered and well kept. The trip up and down the mountain had lots of tricky terrain but the horses handled it well and we had a blast. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Our wrangler was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and told us a bunch of hilarious stories as well. I highly recommend this experience to anybody. Super fun to learn something new and have lots of laughs while doing it!

I think we were a mixed group of about 18 guests. All of our tour guides were professional, knowledgeable, fun, and lighthearted people. They made absolutely sure we were all safe and having a great time. If you don't want to wait on other people and prefer a smaller group, get the private tour. There wasn't much shade but we were dressed for the heat and had plenty of water and our guides made sure we stayed hydrated. Each horse has a saddle bag for water and small personal items. Jalynn (I think that was her name) did an excellent job rounding up the group and taking charge. She knew what she was doing and how to handle her horse. Chaz and Marina were also our guides and they did a great job of us staying in line. Friendly and personable. I rode Cody and my husband rode Blue. They provided water and Gatorade. There is only one outhouse. They have Clorox wipes, toilet paper and a hand washing station with soap. (And paper towels. ) The lady at our bed and breakfast recommended this place. I hadn't seen it online and they had same day availability. We were on the 2pm tour so if you don't want to be so hot, go in the morning. Lots of dust so be prepared.

We came during a busy season and the trailhead opens at 8 am and does get completely full. 10 minutes before the gate opens there was already a line of cars waiting to get in. They do have a shuttle at a parking lot about an hour away if it gets too busy. Because we didn't have water or food we were only out about a 3 hours and could have easily stayed for two more. The hike starts with stairs and handrails but quickly opens up into not clearly marked paths that feel like you are walking in nature and not on a path. You'll reach Devil's Kitchen quickly and the scale is much larger in person and har to capture via pictures. It's a sinkhole with no barriers around the edge so walk carefully. A lot of people come for the Seven Sacred Pools and if you come too early the lighting isn't that great. If you scramble down to the base of the pools you can walk the dry riverbed back to the trailhead for a different experience

Staying at the Hat Ranch was our first AirBnb experience for our wedding anniversary. So glad we chose the Hat Ranch, as it suits our outdoor style to a "T". The directions in were very easy to follow, and our Toyota Tacoma picked up a beautiful red patina of Arizona dust. Sharon, our host, greeted us at the main house and then escorted us to our quarters. As this was our first time here, she took extra time explaining all about our stay, which included a home cooked breakfast today. You can Google the Historic Hat Ranch for all the cool details, but suffice to say there are some very presidentially mended fences here on the expansive 2,800 acres. Our room was very nice, twin beds and a nicely appointed bathroom. Also a spacious deck to view the open Ranch space. We opened the windows and breathed in the fresh air...scented with juniper and noble fir trees right out our door. We didn't see any, but Sharon told us Elk frequented the area often. Many other wild creatures to see too, including javelinas. The baby colt on the way in made my wife's day, and he quickly posed for some pictures and romped away. This has been a perfect cherry on the top of our anniversary Sunday. If you love the outdoors and crave a rustic Ranch experience with warm hospitality, the Hat Ranch is the place for you.

They picked us up from our hotel, made several stops including clean bathroom breaks and couple gift shops. Overall, the tour was amazing. Although we only spent 45 minutes at a horseshoe Bend, we were able to take some awesome pictures and walk around. But definitely the highlight was Antelope Canyon. You can only go on a tour here with the Navajo guide and our guide Ray was fantastic. We spent about 1.5 hours at lower Antelope Canyon. He really made the tour fun, informative, and he took the best pictures. The photos do not do it justice. The experience was just unreal. Each term that we took we were in awe. The downside was our tour guide Brandon. Although he was very friendly, he didn't seem that knowledgeable. Maybe he was having an off day but there were a couple times that he stopped mid sentence while telling a fact and even ended a fun fact with blah blah blah to finish up his sentence. At one point, he even started chewing on a candy or something while hooked up to the microphone. This was really annoying. We still had a very great day just a couple things that didn't make it a five star experience. Did you have a lot of options for tours and their office is located centrally in the uptown area.
