So I ended up going to BMW to speak to someone directly. The place was not busy on a Friday afternoon. The service advisor that I went to was watching videos on their phone before I interrupted her. This was a serious issue, so much so that in cases like this, Jim is required to deactivate power to the property until the wire is repaired. In addition to the potential of causing a house fire, the issue could have caused a wildfire (the property is at the base of Granite Mountain). Thank guys - you're life savers!
