When I asked Russ if he knows about this incident or have been notified of such, he said that he can't answer my question. I also had some questions regarding the P&L that have been done by this office, he said that he can't answer any questions. I sent him Operating Agreement of the business and reminded him that I am the 50% shareholder of the company and have an executive power, and decision making for the company and he can't withhold the financial records and information from me. He sent an email to me saying that my questions regarding my QuickBooks are threatening and disrespectful to his office and told me that I can't communicate with their office anymore. This person have been unprofessional and rude. He is paid by my company and hired by my company, but withholds my records and information from me. I asked about their credentials, he responded that my inquiry is disrespectful and offensive. I would like to know who is the governing board of this company. I am wondering if he owns a license or an appropriate training of the code of ethics, rules or regulations of the line of his business, otherwise he should have known that he can't work as a book keeper for my company and yet doesn't feel accountable to answer my questions regarding the quick book and handling my sensitive financial information. He said that I should not contact his office and yet wants to have access to all of my bank accounts, bank transactions and work and get paid for my company. He is not bonded by any rules and regulation. If you get into a problem with them you must pay more money and hire an attorney to protect your business and rights.

Peter Steele is exceptionally knowledgeable, and efficiently precise. I'm usually out of his office in about half the time it took either H&R Block or Liberty Tax. To top things off, his rates are more affordable than either of those two; I paid about $70 this year, compared to the $100+ with the last two companies. What forced me to switch from H&R Block, and then from Liberty Tax, was the extensive research I did in the employee's training and qualifications. Allow me to save you the trouble of searching it for yourself; the findings are scary. It appears that just about anyone can become a representative for either of those companies. Inexperience isn't an issue for Peter Steele, however. He's an LLC, so you can be confident in your decision to trust him with your monetary information. The only problem I have with his company is how cluttered it can be; it can be pretty full with massive amounts of paperwork and file cabinets, but don't let that scare you off! Here's my…read morestory: I wanted to warn other people about Gattis Cowan & Kramlich PS (aka GATTIS, STEWART & ASSOCIATES, P.S.), an accounting firm, located in north Seattle. They did my taxes for several years up until 2022. I told them via email that I didn't need their services anymore (switched jobs) and I thought that was understood. As a service, they did a fine job, so I thanked them. But each year for the next 4 years they kept (physical) mailing me new tax forms (with all of my private information in them) even though I emailed the first year and called 3 times every single year after to ask them to please stop sending those out. In the calls, they assured me they would stop sending those, but they have not stopped. Now I am living in another residence, and I was notified they are STILL sending my personal tax form information to my old address. This is uncalled for. I filed a complaint with the BBB. The BBB tried to contact them several ways over a period of 2 months. They never responded. So I assume they don't have any professional customer consideration and my personal information will continue to be mailed to my old residence each year. The BBB will at least register the complaint for the next 3 years, I was just notified of this today.
