My fiancé called and left a voicemail message, which she did not respond to. He called the next day, and she answered and said that she thought she had returned all of her calls. She told him that the best way to reach her was via email. So he conferred with me about scheduling an appointment with her, and then sent her an email. Here we are four days later, and nothing. So frustrating!

Her prices were comparable to others but I wasted time trying to reach her by phone (it took 2 tries) and ultimately I had to find another CPA.

He sounds like a confident and skillful CPA, and is nice to talk to. But when I asked him specific tax planning questions, sometimes he gave very general or very vague answers that are not very helpful. There were wrong answers too that I found out in my own followup research. Advise those who wants to work with him do a thorough interview and ask concrete questions about your specific situation, to make sure he can handle them well. That said, my tax situation had some extra considerations that may not be the case for others.

He was reasonably priced, poorly communicative and did a professional job before he took the axe to my business and is forcing me to find another resource for my business and my personal taxes. Though 10 months ago when he did my taxes I would be willing to say "This guy's alright, do business here." today is a completely different story. My recommendation, before you take on this tax man, know that he is a very one-track-mind individual and though he seems to care about you, if you call him out on his credibility, or lack there-of, he won't hesitate to leave you stranded when you need it most.

If you are looking for integrity and excellent representation AVOID this Tax Service. I was…read moresolicited by this company last February 2012 in response to an internet search for help with a Tax Audit. I was assured that I would be excellently represented for the sum of $3500 (in advance of the service being completed.) I took all docs and receipts to him and explained that I travel extensively for my business and really needed someone that I could depend on. I also explained, that the retail docs were a bit disorganized, which he immediately assured me was of no concern and upon seeing, stated he had seen "much worse". We got along great initially. So great that I asked my partner to also work with him. As a result she sent STS her very organized docs. However, ultimately, he allowed the mandated Audit hard dates to pass after he assured me numerous times that he was taking care of everything. This resulted in large fines and penalties. After terminating STS, I was able to work personally with the tax auditor. Errors, resulting in wrongful tax amounts due, were reduced by over 33% ( which STS had indicated was not possible). However, the resulting fines that were leveled as a result of a missed hard date while I was traveling, were not removed. It was agreed that the tax accountant involved (STS) was not very knowledgeable and had been very "cavalier" in his care of my case. Security Tax Service did provide organizational assistance and the staff was friendly and cooperative otherwise, however, the key player, although initially friendly and affable, became condescending, sarcastic and ultimately shrugged responsibility causing financial damage and extreme stress. My files were completely dumped out of their file folders and mixed up, causing hours of re-organization. In over 30 years of experience as a successful business woman, I have never been treated in this manner.
