Advance Check-In - Damage from Advanced Check-In, July 2026. The crack pushed into the wheel housing, making the suitcase difficult to roll through the airport

Pickup and drop-off worked fine and communication that day was quick and friendly. My carry-on went in undamaged and came back with the shell cracked through at a wheel corner. I contacted Angela the same day. She responded within the hour, apologized, and said the company would repair or replace it. On August 4 she asked for my mailing address to send payment. I sent it that day. I followed up on August 19 and September 2. As of today, September 5, there has been no payment and no response since August 4. The amount is 94 dollars and 33 cents, the documented purchase price. The service works as advertised getting your bags from the port to the airport, but there is no guarantee they arrive in the same condition, and bags wait outside at the curb in the open air. Someone is generally out there keeping watch, but the sheer number of bags at busy times means they're not closely monitored. Photograph your bags before you hand them off. Get travel insurance before you use a service like this, because if something goes wrong, there is no real path to get made whole.

Great walking distance from all the action. I also liked how spacious the bathroom was. I just wish our room wasn't facing the alleyway, it made it kind of dark. We could also hear the street sounds and the walls of our room were thin, my friend woke up a few times in the middle of the night from noisy neighbors. When I arrived, I was promptly checked in (check in was at 3pm) and I made it to our room on the third flood, dropped off my stuff and freshened up before heading out to Bourbon Street to explore the city. My friend arrived just in time for happy hour so we both ordered French 75s at the bar before dinner. We stayed for 3 nights and came back to a clean room after spending most of our time out and about. For ~$80/person/night, it was def one of the more affordable options in the area, so I couldn't expect too much. I think next time, I might explore other areas to stay in but it wasn't bad for my first visit to NOLA.

My room did not have an outside facing window. I spoke to the reception and they said the building used to be a bank and that more than half of the rooms do not have outside facing rooms. My room had a "window" facing the hallway, meaning light streams in all the time if you do not close the curtain all the way. When you wake up you have no idea if it's in the middle of the night or if it's morning. Also the bathroom did have hand soap. It was very strange. New travel fear unlocked, hotel room might not have a window, lol.

I paid for the round trip which was less expensive than an Uber or Lyft would have been each way, and my return flight information they told me when I'd be picked up to go back. If you are staying downtown New Orleans, it is a very convenient airport shuttle, with a simple scheduling process at the 'Downtown Hotel Shuttle' area of MSY Airport. The price of shuttle service is much cheaper than catching a Lyft to-and-from the airport. I paid no more than $24 for a shuttle ride to my hotel located in downtown New Orleans, Central Business District. I adored the driver, Harry, who was very kind and informative beforehand, but this process is just not fair for those who have had a long flight and just want to get in and relax, or those who just want to explore New Orleans as soon as possible. On what appeared to be a slow day I ended up being the only rider, after I waited on the shuttle for an hour for seats to be filled. With New Orleans being one of the more touristy places, it still baffles me that this shuttle could not get more riders other than I within an hour. If you have no time restraints and staying within or nearby downtown New Orleans, then look no further than Airport Shuttle New Orleans. However, if you do have time restraints, I recommend not utilizing it because there is no consistency with the number of pick-ups from the airport, so you may have a wait. Anyway, safe travels, and blessings to all that read this review. Thomas G

We both enjoy having our own space. :) The hotel is conveniently located in the lively French Quarter. It's one block away from Bourbon, and one block in another direction from Canal. Location: *chef's kiss* Our first time staying, we had a great view of the French Quarter. Our most recent stay, not so much. Our view overlooked a creepy parking lot, lol. Also, during this most recent stay, the room had an odor. Like, when you leave clothes in the washing machine too long. Check-in time is 4pm. However, you can let them know if you'll be arriving early and they'll do their best to accomodate. During both stays we arrived late morning and we were able to check-in almost immediately. Grateful for that! Thanks, Courtyard! There's a convenience store in the lobby with drinks, snacks, aspirin (I think they have Pepto Bismol and cold meds, too) and microwave meals if you'd like a lil somethin' but don't want to venture back out. The staff are great! Always pleasant, kind and helpful. Room service is good, too! During the first day of our first stay, I was hit in the evening by a pain in the butt headache from not drinking enough caffeine that morning. I'd gotten hOngry and ordered BBQ shrimp & grits and beignets. Deeeeeelicious! All of it! I also love the decor and the artwork by the elevators. There's a painting of a fox that just hypnotizes me. Something about those fox eyes. Would we stay there again? Ha, no question! Would I recommend? Absolutely!

During a recent six-day stay, I had an outstanding experience from check-in to checkout. Upon arrival, I used the valet service, and every valet attendant I encountered throughout my stay was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. I felt completely comfortable leaving my rental car in their care. The parking garage is conveniently located just across the narrow French Quarter street, so retrieving your vehicle is quick and easy. Guests can also call ahead to have their vehicle waiting, which is a great convenience. The front desk team was equally impressive. Every time I entered the lobby, I was greeted with a smile. The staff went above and beyond during an unexpected power outage in the French Quarter caused by a transformer fire. They worked together to help me retrieve my vehicle from valet so I could make it to the airport on time. Their professionalism and teamwork during a stressful situation were truly appreciated. The hotel's main lobby is bright, modern, and very clean. Having a Starbucks and a well-equipped fitness center on the lobby level is an added bonus. Our suite exceeded expectations. It featured a comfortable living area with ample seating and a large television, making it feel more like a small apartment than a standard hotel room. The bathroom was spacious with a glass-enclosed shower, and the king bed provided the level of comfort I expect from a Marriott Bonvoy property. One detail I especially appreciated was the quality of the iron and ironing board--they were noticeably better than what most hotels provide. The suite also included a generously sized mini refrigerator, and microwaves are conveniently available in the common areas near the ice machines. The location is one of this hotel's biggest strengths. It's close enough to walk to all the excitement of the French Quarter, yet just far enough away to enjoy a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere when you're ready to unwind. Overall, this property delivers exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and an unbeatable location. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

Far much better than the last hostel I stayed at in NOLA in terms of square footage, amenities, and aesthetics. I only spent 1 night so I cannot comment on the social vibes or if the hostel offer activities to foster social interactions. LOCATION It's really a convenient, great location. The famous Bourbon St is just a few blocks away. The rail car is right there. PARKING You might find temporary parking in front, but the hostel has no allocated parking. You can get discounted garage parking upon arrival. I only found parking on the very top level (level 8) which has no covering. It's a 3 minute walk from the hostel. If you are willing to spend time searching and walking, there are cheaper garage parking nearby for half the price. ROOMS I stayed in the 8-bed women dorm. It wasn't full. Everyone gets a card to enter into the building, staircase to the kitchen from the lobby, and your room. I like the bed setup. Each bed comes with a small moveable lamp light, locker, curtain, power outlet with USB ports per bed. The bed was comfortable. I slept better than where I came from. Sheets looked clean. The bed bunk frame is metal so it won't shake like the wooden ones when people turn or get in or out of bed. If you're a light sleeper, you'll need earplugs. You will hear honks and sirens. BATHROOMS There are at least 5 or 6 shared bathrooms on the floors with dorm rooms. The 5th floor has no shared bathrooms. They say they clean them twice a day, which is good if they really do. I'm glad there are no bathrooms inside the dorm rooms. The shower curtain is not wide enough. The water temperature of the shower was lukewarm and not as hot as I would like. I don't know if it was because multiple people were using the shower at the same time. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE The elevator can only fit 5 people max and it's a bit slow. The kitchen has 2 or 3 huge refrigerators. The lobby has a pool table, different seating arrangements, snacks and beverages for sale. After checking out, there are lockers to store your items. You can also hang out in the lobby till 9 pm. There is a receptionist available 24/7 but they don't seem to answer the phone at all. I called before and after booking my stay and no one answers at all. There is a lot of areas to sit and lounge/chill. In the lobby area and second floor where the kitchen is located. They offer a lot of recommendations for things to do and restaurants. The towel given is small and not an actual bath towel.
