Totally dishonest company. They claimed to have "transferred" the tickets but we never received.

they are a scam - they never gave me tickets that they way overcharged me for.

My event was cancelled during shut down, and was told that I would either get refunded or a comparable ticket. The company is impossible to reach and does not follow through on promises. Can't call customer service or get a response via email. Do not use this site for tickets, they are a scam. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The company will not give refunds even when the event was cancelled and was giving refund to ticket holders. Their prices are terrible. To try to get some money back, I was forced to buy tickets from them to other events. A $45 priced ticket was sold for $200 and then they charge service fees. When my tickets did not arrive as promised, I repeatedly called, emailed and did instant messages. Each time I was on hold for at least an hour. Once, the automated system said the hold time was 5 minutes but after 75 minutes I gave up and requested an email come to my address. They say that it is quicker to email. Don't believe them. I never received an email. When emailing them from their "contact" box on their website, I never received a reply. I have asked for a manager to call me but as of now, I have not gotten a call. The representatives will not connect you to a supervisor. One rep did say they had weekly meetings and I begged him to let his management know that customers are irate. I finally received an email. It includes the name of the original ticket purchaser who supposedly will meet me at the gate? I called the phone number listed and it doesn't get answered and there is no voice mailbox set up. Total scam. Never, never do business with them . read more

DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY! When I went online to buy tickets directly from the theater, SBO site popped up with the theater logo. I wanted to purchase front, center orchestra at $77 each ticket. What I got was rear orchestra ($57 per ticket) and was charged $432! How can they get away with this? They refuse to refund me and told my credit card they had supplied 2 tickets so my credit card refused to reverse the charge. read more

I would give these A-holes a lower rating, but its not possible. I went to buy some tickets for a show in San Diego from them and the purchase price was 92.00. Which is roughly what the venue charges. After loading in my CC info and hitting the submit button, the price total changed and came up to 706.00. Thinking it must of been a mistake, I contacted them via email right away. There response "You ordered your tickets through a secondary marketplace, where the tickets are listed and sold by sellers at costs indicative of the supply and demand of the live market at any given time. The costs associated with your order were broken down for you throughout the checkout process. Upon finalizing your order with us, you also agreed to the Sales Terms and Conditions which outline that all sales are final. Therefore we cannot fulfill your request to cancel or refund your order. No, no there not. Its a bait and switch scheme and you don't know the final price until you submit your order. I contacted my CC company and reported them and had the charges stopped. I have reported them to the BBB. If I lived in Omaha, I would file a police report. Do not use this company! But don't totally take my word for it, google them and you will see they have pulled this scam a lot of people. read more

Buy through Ticketmaster. This company is a scam. I paid close to $350 per ticket and when I got to the show they were selling for less than $150 and much better seats. The venue also changed without them telling us. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM read more

Crappiest place on the earth to order tickets from. I ordered two tickets last March for an event that was rescheduled three times due to covid. As it has been over a year, and I am in a high risk group for covid, I requested a refund. They told me I could resell the tickets on the internet with absolutely no recourse for my funds. read more

Way back before the pandemic, I was online hoping to get tickets to Hamilton at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. I do not remember if I was on Fox's website or Ticketmaster, but I do remember a feeling of desperation, as the tickets were going fast, and the fear that I was not going to be able to fulfill the dream of my wife of 50 years. In the frantic moments, my wife got an email or a text indicating that good tickets were available, and I clicked on that, and we secured two tickets. The show of course was postponed twice, and we got Disney Plus and were able to see the show that way with closed captioning. When I inquired about a refund, Secure Box Office of course pointed to their very clear policy of no refunds unless the show is cancelled. Then I discovered that we had paid way more than the tickets actually cost, plus over $100 service fee. They did say I could try to sell the tickets on my own, but who will pay me anything close to the $700 plus I paid for our tickets, especially since it is back in Atlanta now with the local hospitals full and Fox is not requiring proof of vaccinations? I do not know how Secure Box Office was able to highjack our online attempt to buy tickets. Today, I went searching for the emailed tickets to discover that the emailed tickets would be sent immediately (day or days) before the event. I tried calling, then was directed to a live chat, but even the live chat said due to high chat volume, they would text us back once a customer service representative was available. Sorry to be so long-winded, but please never do any business with this company. Worse customer support ever. read more

We have an event today, The tickets were purchased months ago. Three days of trying to get my tickets from Customer Service and still nothing. I have my order and confirmation from Secure Box Office but NO TICKETS! read more

Used secure box office to purchase baseball tickets. The game was postponed so they said no refund because it wasn't cancelled just postponed. Two days before the new postponed game, they sent a cancellation notice but the game wasn't cancelled so instead of giving us tickets they gave us a credit. Used the credit to buy better tickets than we previously had. At the end of the day, they resell tickets higher than the original price so you get what you pay for and know that upfront. I think them not understanding the postponed/cancellation issue was an honest mistake and they stayed on the phone with me until they credited my account and then used that credit to secure my new tickets. There are better resellers out there seatgeek, Ticketmaster, etc so I won't be using them again but for what I used them for, they were ok. read more

This company's customer service is non-existent. A concert I purchased two tickets for was rescheduled and we cannot make the new date. After getting through their ridiculously long automated questionnaire, I finally got through to an agent. I explained the situation and she said because the concert wasn't actually cancelled, they could not do anything for me and recommended I try to resell them over social media. I explained that the Artists explained on their reschedule post that refunds would be available if you cannot make the new date. When I stated that, the SBO agent hung up on me. Now, when I call and get past the automated questions, I'm instantly disconnected as if my number is screened. Brutal. read more

So I was planning to go to the Nuggets/GSW game, but it was "postponed" due to COVID. I had JUST purchased my parking ticket for EIGHTY DOLLARS, and got an email advising me that it was postponed. The word "postponed" is a shady word for "you are never getting a refund no matter how much you beg, plead or argue". They will not escalate you to a supervisor, if requested. Their app is designed to demoralize and irritate you. Their suggestion is to try and sell the ticket online... I looked, and I would get about 20 bucks for my 80 dollar parking ticket. DON'T BUY FROM THEM EVER!!! read more

My event (purchased July 17th, 2019) was canceled due to COVID (May 28th, 2020). I was not offered a refund but was offered a credit that needed to be used within 18 months. I explained that I did not want a credit, I don't usually go to shows, this was to be a one-time deal. They refused. Months later, I used my credit to purchase tickets to another show. I just receive an email months later telling me that this show has been rescheduled from 6/25/2021 until 06/02/2023. That is two years from now!!! When I tried to call customer service I had to jump thru all sorts of hoops on their stupid automated system, giving me all sorts of options EXCEPT THE ONE I WAS CALLING ABOUT. Once I finally cracked the code and was transferred to an actual customer service agent, I was HUNG UP ON! TWICE!!!!!! read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Just like so many others, I reached out on two separate occasions to ensure that they would fulfill their buyer guarantee if the play I purchased tickets to was cancelled due to the COVID-19. I have in writing that I would receive a full refund. One day ago I received an email with store credit. Purchased the tickets before the pandemic was even thought of here in USA and their website still stated that they would give full refunds today. While a majority is refunding, stopping payments and giving money back, this company is just pocketing buyers money and giving a bogus explanation. Do not use this site. I think it's terrible what they are doing. Out of $400. read more

My wife and I purchased early anniversary tickets for Ali Wong in New York. Now with the Corona Virus outbreak, they are refusing to refund the purchase. Saying that since the show is postponed it is still valid. they offered no help or assurance and put the pressure back on me to deal with the ticktes. The lack of compassion or outside the box thinking shows what a limited organization this is. I regret using them and will not be doing so in the future. I would advise to use a different company to purchase tickets, one that is able to understand a major health crisis and adapt policy. read more

I don't ever write reviews but this company is TERRIBLE! Terrible, terrible company. This company is a scam. don't buy tickets from these guys. They set up as a front for the place you're buying tickets from and charge crazy rates. This has got to be illegal? Will contact BBB next. read more

Total scam. They appear to be selling tickets but what they're really selling is a "promise" to sell you tickets after they get them whenever they get them. They hide the good info and make it look like you have picked your seats, but really you're sold a general seat in a general row in a general area with the "guaranty" that you'll get your actual tickets at least 1 day before the show (which in our case is 6 months away so you can't possibly fix your mistake and resell them). The worst customer service department EVER - designed in a cavern of automation to make you give up. But even if you do get a live person (we were told finally she was the highest customer service position in the company), she was only there to say "no" and there was no help, no meaningful explanation and, frankly no attention to service whatsoever. Buyer beware! I bought a ticket and needed to cancel it almost immediately after purchasing it because it was the wrong event. If i could give negative stars, I would. This is the BIGGEST SCAM and a BULLSH*T company. Please, please, please do not buy from them!!! My friend purchased Hamilton tickets for my birthday and since the shows are getting cancelled, we try to call to get some general information on exchange/return policies (just in case) and talk about a sitting discrepancy. We were on hold for 40 minutes and then their automated system hung up on us. We went online and saw that their ticket prices are 3x the average rate!!! We got tickets in the Mezz Center (somewhere between A-L). Our tickets were over $600 per person (with all the added BS fees) and they gave us row J!!! Right now, you can get Mezz Center row E for $135 per person (which is a better area/closer and reasonably priced!!) THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM EVER! I emailed them (after getting hung up on) to try to get assistance however, they have not responded and apparently, they will not help you to exchange your tickets or give you a refund. I have reported them to the BBB and will be reporting them to my bank to try to get my money back. Because we do not go to pantages normally, we thought this was their legitamate ticket site. Apparently, pantages does not have an online system where you can buy your tickets and you must go through one of these sites like secure box office or ticketmaster. It is safe to say I will never be purchasing tickets from secure box office, or for Pantages (considering they do not offer a safe way to purchase tickets when their box office is closed). Very Very disappointing. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY. read more

DON'T use SecureBoxOffice if you are trying to get adjacent seats to an existing order! I paid twice as much for 2 tickets than I did for 4 after calling to get adjacent seats as I was unable to request it online. The rep processed my order and sent me my confirmation. The confirmation only showed Row and Section so I didn't think to review the actual e-ticket. At the event, I discover our two seats are on the other side of the arena! What a huge disappointment. Calling customer service after the event only resulting in being told they would never guarantee adjacent seats! The rep said they would review the actual call and email me a response. I'm not very confident that will actually happen. I mentioned the I paid twice as much and the rep said they added that to the call details - but....I hadn't told them until the end of the call! I was getting lip service. Do not trust this organization! read more
