The girls working the register were extremely unprofessional and I learned a lot about them while patiently waiting in line, they were 20 and 21. I was the only one in line and there were 2 girls at the register being checked out. The girls behind the register were playing and joking around the entire time and too concerned about having personal conversations with the young girls checking out. One associate was doing stretches behind the register complaining of her hip being numb, then talking about her boyfriend of 6 years, and much more that really isn't appropriate to even put online. The associates were using odd slang words, and I wasn't sure if I was seriously witnessing this or if I was watching a TikTok video. Regardless of age, they need to be taught to be professional at work as they are representing the company as a whole. I really wanted to mention this to a manager but couldn't stand to wait any longer as I had waited 25 minutes in line (still the only one waiting) while they proceeded to have their hangout session with the customers in front of me. I'm saddened this store has hired people like this, in the previous years it's always been professional and helpful service. This experience has deterred me from going back and made me realize online ordering may be the best option.
