Walking through this facility feels more like visiting a museum than a retail space. It's easily one of the most visually impressive cannabis operations in Northern California. The company reportedly produces around seven tons annually (approximately 14,000 pounds), with distribution reaching over 300 storefronts across California. All of that product is grown locally here in Redding. The cultivation side includes seven meticulously maintained grow rooms, each housing roughly 1,200 plants, along with an additional 15,000-square-foot facility. The attention to detail is obvious--from the layout to the presentation--creating an atmosphere that feels welcoming, polished, and intentionally designed. Products are displayed in a way that allows customers to experience aroma and variety firsthand, which adds to the overall experience. Among the standout strains, Nightshade, Garlic Mushroom (commonly referred to as Garlic Mushroom Onion), and Blueberry Parfait are often mentioned as top-tier selections. The staff here was very knowledgeable and helpful. They had a great selection of various cannabis products displayed very neatly and the pricing was visible and fair. The building was clean and spacious. I loved the mini tour they gave me and the adorable little bag my goods came in. Felt like a cannabis boutique! 10/10 will go again. read more

I don't know what's happened to the place, but most of the previous employees who were my faves, like Chelle and Sydney, are gone. The whole "vibe" of the place has sunk to the pits. One particular person, I'm not sure, I think her name is Jennifer? had a snarky attitude, was dressed like a much younger adult and reeked of alcohol! I didn't even have to stand by her, I could smell it. And then, the flirting between her and the manager Derrick (sp?) was a huge turn off. It made the place uncomfortable to shop in. Not to mention feeling like I was being watched like a thief. Vibe has great products, my faves being the edibles, and the prices are decent. But, Vibe has lost it's VIBE. I'll have to go back to my old dispensary. I only went to Vibe because the previous employees were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. These clowns look like they've sampled too much of the stock. Edit to add: Richard, after spending the amount of money I have there, I'd say that I was a great customer.

A Golden State Dispensary is my new favorite!! I am IN LOVE with all their flower and I love that they only sell their own. They also have a great selection of other products from other brands, like edibles from Camino and Emerald Sky and carts from Timeless. The plant nursery they have is beautiful and is one of my most favorite parts of visiting the store. Everybody is always super nice and friendly and always helps get me what I'm looking for, as well as making sure to tell me about the deals they have going. This dispensary is by far the nicest in the area, but that isn't the main reason you should try a golden state. The main reason is because all of the staff here is very out going, they do genuinely care what you are putting in your body, and aren't there to just sell you whats on the top shelf but what will cater to your needs. The quality of their products are is top notch and especially for the value. If you have the time I would recommend going in and seeing Ashley, she is an amazing budtender who puts your needs first. read more

If you are looking for the highest quality cannabis at the best prices available in Shasta County, this is the only place to go. A Golden State is the most unique and memorable dispensary I have visited. There is something to be said about seeing the bud you want to purchase growing right in front of you.
