He also suggested we add a curb where our front yard is higher than the slab. The work was done in two days (including breaking up unexpected extra layers of asphalt), and then Alfonso came out on a Sunday to place soil, straw and grass seed over the drain line. We now have the best patio in our DC neighborhood, our drainage problems are nonexistent and we are able to host gatherings very easily with tons of fun! They even fit me in before Christmas ahead of schedule. Wasn't cheap but considering amount of work done I think it's been totally worth it.
