Purchased some great pompoms and some yarn inside of a cute project bag. https://www.northforkfiberarts.com Mentioning this because I searched multiple times on yelp and North Fork Fiber Arts came up only one time. Altman's comes up every time, but their website no longer works, so I didn't think there was a yarn shop in the area. It was my lucky day when North Fork Fiber Arts showed up in my search at the same location.

Item displayed that was knitted that I wanted the pattern to they took away when I suggested if they have a displayed item they should have the pattern and yarn available. There were two people working and three customers. One just browsing. All in all I'll wait until I get to a Michael's!!!

I think because I had on a big coat and my friend is black, that she thought we were there to steal. She questioned my friend why I was looking at their selection of beads, I'm an artist, I make bracelets! My friend was going to buy something, but the cashier said that the other item was cheaper and more affordable, which rubbed my friend the wrong way. Like as if she didn't have money because she was black. It's a cute store, but they should really teach their employees not to hound people and judge them. My friend was ready to spend $200 dollars there, but because the cashier was so weird, she didn't! So they lost a sale because of the cashiers weird comments.

The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and even offered up suggestions for where we could eat lunch. Total gem, will definitely be back for more decorating!
