I wanted to start on my back piece. I called Avenging Art, explained my situation, and Josh (the owner) said here's my number. Text me a picture of what you want and your back. I did and he gave me a quote within minutes and said he was ready at that moment. I went to the shop 10 mins later and he was already getting it together. He also finished in good time too. Josh was so professional, friendly, and ready to please. He sat me down to have an honest conversation about the piece and the sessions it would take. No bullshit and the customer service was amazing. I have over 20 tattoos and this is the first shop to offer water/coffee/soda, asked if the music was good, and to give a goodie bag (care instructions, ointment, and a backpack!!). I definitely felt so welcomed and like a valued customer. I'm looking forward to my next session with him.

Her pricing was fair, her work is incredible, and she as well as everyone in the shop was friendly, patient, and professional. Awesome shop with amazing artists. Forrest did mine and I'm a happy camper, was just a quick and simple job but he treated it like he was doing something very intricate. The focus he has and attention to detail is amazing. If I lived closer I'd have a lot more tattoos. My mom is also very happy with hers as well. I can't remember her artists name off the top of my head, sorry, but thank you to him nonetheless. I might have to get more work done next time I'm in town even though my wife won't like it lol.

She took the time to capture my dog's likeness, down to the tiniest details, and worked with me to make sure the design was exactly what I wanted. She offered thoughtful suggestions and shared her input when needed, but never once made me feel pressured to change anything. I really appreciated how much care she put into making sure I was happy with every detail. She even took the time to ask questions and learn about the special bond I share with my dog. The shop itself was spotless, which made me feel even more comfortable. I felt completely safe and relaxed throughout the entire process, and I didn't feel any pain! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and they even sent me home with the sweetest little gift bag filled with goodies. I couldn't be happier with how my tattoo turned out or with my experience at Iris. Everyone made me feel so welcome, and I'm so glad I chose them for something so special to me. No ego, no drama. Came a little early and hung out for a minute before and noticed a well oiled machine. I was able to get scheduled for about 1.5 weeks later. I had initially thought of a different design and sent in two photos to essentially combine, and Eli both delivered exactly the requested design but also another that I ended up loving and choosing which was so exciting! Eli, and the nice guy at the front desk were so sweet and helpful. Was a very relaxing and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

Kristen Kooster was the artist whose line work caught my eye, and without a doubt her precision and meticulousness made the tattooing process so wonderful. If you haven't gotten a tattoo before, you will first be asked to schedule a consult prior to then getting an appointment for the main body of work. The scheduling was seamless, all digitized through text and email which made integrating into Google Calendar a breeze. There is endless art and intrigue on all the walls here, and I enjoyed taking some time appreciating it while in the waiting area. It was lovely to see how supportive everyone was of each other in the suites. Love seeing solidarity and friendship amongst women doing amazing work! When I arrived about 10 minutes early, I was greeted warmly and given some paperwork to fill out...and then I sat...and sat...and sat, as artists and the receptionist gossiped and I was ignored. After 45 minutes, I had to leave. I had already arrived an hour later than expected and I had places to be. When I told the receptionist, I was asked if I would like to reschedule. No thanks. Maybe if there had been ANY communication, but no. I asked for a refund of my deposit and was laughed at. I understand the point of the deposit, but considering I paid to waste a couple of hours of my life, I thought they might have a bit of empathy. Will not be going back. I'll stick to my usual artist, even thought it's a much longer drive.
