As stated on their website Danelle is the artist doing walk ins so we just stopped in to see if she was available. She happened to be working on someone else but was available in an hour so we left and came back a little later. She was great! So nice and very informative. I have another tattoo so I was familiar with the process but she provided 2 difference sizes as well as some background info about what she thought would look best as it was a thin line tattoo and I wanted to see all the details. I'm super happy with my end result and would totally go back. The shop was also very very clean and the girls at the front desk were super nice as well! They seemed really happy that I mentioned I was from out of town as they usually just get locals but that also did make me feel more confirmed with my choice in knowing they seemed to have lots of reoccurring local customers. Looked up the IG page and found an artist, and was able to walk in on a Tuesday afternoon. Danielle did our tattoos and I love it! The shop is VERY clean, everyone was very personable and the work here is great! The parking is in the back of the building and you have to go through a side door to get upstairs. I was able to get scheduled for about 1.5 weeks later. I had initially thought of a different design and sent in two photos to essentially combine, and Eli both delivered exactly the requested design but also another that I ended up loving and choosing which was so exciting! Eli, and the nice guy at the front desk were so sweet and helpful. Was a very relaxing and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

As it was going to be my first tattoo, I was quite a bit nervous about it, and wanted to go to one of the best. Evolutionary Studios had some pretty great reviews, and after looking at some of their artwork, I decided to choose them! I reached out to Kevin, who at that time was the only tatoo artist there, and sent him some pictures and gave him my vision of what I wanted. He told me he would love to work on my design, and told me I could come in on the day I requested. About two weeks before my scheduled appointment for the tattoo, I came by to check out the studio just because I hadn't been there before. The studio is in a little strip mall off of Main St. It's very clean, and felt almost doctor's office-ish, which I liked! Kevin wasn't there at a time but his apprentice Doug(who is now actually an artist there!) was. He was super friendly, offered me something to drink when i first came in. He let me check out the studio, see where I'd be getting the tattoo done ,and answered all my questions! I follow his work too and he's been doing pretty great!! So the day of my appointment, I came in and had to fill out some paperwork. Then I met with Kevin and he showed me the design and asked me if there's anything I wanted to change. It was just what I wanted, so we went ahead and started. He talked to me, and played some music while doing it. I felt very comfortable during the process, though yes, it did hurt for me! The tattoo came out beautifully. I couldn't have been happier with it! I stopped by a couple times after to make sure the tattoo was healing properly. They also offer a free retouch within 90 days, which I took advantage of! I would highly recommend Evolutionary Studios for your next tatto/piercing. They do excellent work, and really do take care of their customers!

She's very knowledgeable of piercings, aftercare, and the anatomy of your desired place to be pierced. My friend got a double Tragus piercing that caused her to bleed, which drained in her ear and Courtney was so quick to assist in the clean up and ensure the blood was removed from the inner ear so hearing was restored without the feeling of having a clogged ear. I had my conch pierced, which caused me absolutely no pain and was done so quick I had to question if that was it! Lol We will definitely be back in the near future.

I'm not good at art so I was trying to get artistic input, I wanted something specific, I had pictures and wanted help making changes to personalize it, but every question I had about placement or size, was answered with a question. At a certain point, it wasn't helpful. I spent about six hours at the shop over a three inch basic simple tattoo. I even left for an hour after we talked and agreed, thinking he was going to be set up and ready when I got back, but I spent most of the time sitting around the shop. It was literally a three inch all day event. I've never had a bad tattoo experience but next time an artist makes me feel indecisive and stressed or can't give me artistic input, it's time to walk out and go somewhere else. I gave it two stars instead of one because the artists are super talented at shop, including dude that tattooed me, it just didn't work out for me and I wish I went somewhere else.

This is a review for the RIVERSIDE DR location…read more Let me start by saying that the artists at this location are phenomenal. That's not the reasoning for the one star review. The person who is supposedly over booking sessions has a bad attitude problem. And that turned me away immediately. I was trying to speak on the phone with an artist because I had questions about a tattoo that I was going to be getting which would cost me over $1200. But the only person I could talk to was Andrew because I guess he handles booking. He kept bringing up the fact that I had to pay a 100 deposit which is non refundable under any circumstances. But when I gave him my card twice he kept saying it wouldn't go through. So I said I'll try and come up there another day to pay the deposit in person. When I called today to try and speak with Justin, he told me he wasn't there and when I tried to ask Andrew the questions I had for Justin before I gave him any of my money that I can't get refunded, he stated " look man there's nothin I can discuss over the phone and Justin won't take your seriously anyway without a deposit" so when I said "well I guess I'll just hold o-"he immediately said "ok!" and hung up the phone in my face. This tells me that your not allowed to inquire about a tattoo before you pay a deposit. And not to mention how short he was with me. So I called back to let him know that you don't just hang up on customers and I will not be returning for a second tattoo. After I hung up he proceeded to call my phone multiple times and left a voicemail saying I need to learn how shops work. I know how shops work I have plenty of tattoos lol. He was just completely unprofessional and I've never experienced this at any of the other shops I've been to. $100 deposit for a tattoo I was paying 1200-1400 for. I'm very big on respect so this place has definitely lost at least one customer.

The shop has a really nice industrial chic vibe inside, super bright and clean. And of course, there's still all those awesome framed flash tattoo sheets to look at around the walls. This new spot is so neatly laid out, with a front desk and seating area, the four guys each having their own space; yet the shop still feels open and organized. Extra bonus points that there is a great parking lot behind the building. If you want super quality work and serious artistry skills from someone that's been in the business for 20 years who doesn't overbook himself and will get you an appointment set up quickly, James is still my recommendation. He's gonna work with you to give you what you want while also being knowledgeable enough about the industry to give you advice on how to ensure you're getting a tattoo that will look perfect for a lifetime.

Employee was nonchalant and didn't really care, seems he wasn't confident in his abilities so quoting us something outrageous was suitable. I wish I would have taken a photo of the book he handed me.
