The atmosphere is so welcoming and you just feel right at home here. Great brands that I saw were - Billabong, Nike, Sparrow, Ralph Lauren, Gap, Banana Republic and more! The way this store is laid out, you'd think it's more of a boutique or carefully created antique store. The prices are unreal even for a second hand store. The owners are constantly looking for ways to tweak to make an even better environment. Oh and they have a mission to get essentials to all homeless who enter the store. They even offer homeless folks an opportunity to do volunteer work in order to get extra things. This offers folks dignity as well as compassion. I even overheard the store owner rejoice over the phone when one of the homeless folks agreed to go to rehab. The owner was going to drive the man there himself. The only piece of advice I'd give us to enter from the back of the store. Less traffic and much more parking. Highly recommend. read more

OMG I'm not religious and I respect all religion but man they really preach to you. Prices are mediocre $7 a shirt. Bought 3 things. One of the owner seems like a very handy man and did the front of the store himself, at least that's what I heard him say to some lady, I was was ease dropping...don't judge. Ha! Try it out. Whether I'm there to shop or to sell coins and silver, Second Impressions is by far my favorite thrift store to visit in my area. I've only found quality items at reasonable prices and their sales are hard to beat. They recently bought some of my silver coins at 100% of the market price which helped me out tremendously. My sister's were in town visiting from out of state. They loved shopping here. One sister purchased a leather lamb skin jacket she paid 16.99 which is a phenomenal price not to mention it looked great on her.The other sister found two cute jackets, one a light corduroy 6.99 for her college age granddaughter. I discovered an Art Deco vase for 1.99 for which my camellias display beautifully. Like any other second store it's the art of the hunt and joy of discovery. My first time here, we were dropping off a donation and went inside to check it out. Such a cute shop! And it smells so nice. You don't usually say that about second hand stores. Doterra oil defuser was doing its job. Christmas is in a couple weeks and we loved all the items in the "Christmas room". Everything was arranged so well, as if it was someone's home. You could tell that a lot of thought and care was put into placement. I was happy to find a brand new pair of sparkly slippers for just $1.99 and also pair of shoes. This thrift store is a little difficult to find but so worth it. It's in the Avila's Ranchito shopping center in the back. They mostly have men's and women's clothing but they also have books, toys, jewelry, and shoes. I'm mostly impressed by how it doesn't have that "thrift store" smell. It's a great thrift store yes, and i've been a customer here for years and found many really great finds. but, as far as the pandemic goes, i don't feel very safe. i've been a few times over the past year in 2020-2021 and i have been met with unmasked workers and very relaxed social distancing guidelines. i was even told once that i didn't need to wear my mask in the store. to which i kept it on and left the store like 5 minutes later. i would highly recommend the store to someone after the pandemic is over or i feel more comfortable with others ignoring the mask mandate. read more

This place is Hit or Miss. Sometimes you go in and they have nice things for good prices and other times they don't. It depends on the donations they get in for that week. They have new and like new clothes and accessories, mixed in with other things that have moderate wear on them. For example, you can get a pair of new pants, with the tags still on it for $3. I also got a beautiful black formal gown, with tags still attached from a Beverly Hills store, that said $1,200, Their price was $15. Similar resale shops would have charged at least a hundred for it. The store is clean and the people who work there are friendly. In general, their prices are better than the Goodwill and similar stores. They have a clearance section in the back, with a lot of things that are just a dollar. The location can be easy to miss. They are in the very back of a shopping center and hard to see from the street. read more
