The food costs the same as everywhere and they have a good selection of cat food. If you register with their frequent food buyer program you get a free bag after buying 11. I think they keep raising the number of bags you have to buy before you get a free one so who knows when I'll finally get mine. Update: My suspicions have been confirmed. I went yesterday to buy another bag of cat food and the cashier happily chirped that it was my "eighth bag out of twelve" meaning I now need to buy 12 bags to get a free bag. What a scam!

I was honestly fooled by all of the glowing reviews and decided to give this clinic a chance…read more Unfortunately, I didn't even have to make it through the front door to realize this was NOT a place I felt comfortable trusting with my cat. I scheduled an appointment because my cat suddenly developed a heart murmur and needed an X-ray. I was told I would be charged $75 for an exam and $185 PER X-RAY. Fine, I was prepared for the cost because my cat's health is important to me. What immediately became a problem was the attitude I received from the staff. I had already arranged for my cat's veterinary records to be faxed over because I was switching clinics. When I called, I was told they had no idea what I was talking about and had apparently received nothing. Okay, mistakes happen, but the way I was spoken to was completely unnecessary. Then I was given an attitude because they had not received my cat's rabies vaccination documentation. I explained that the vaccine had been done through the SPCA and that they were welcome to contact them directly. I was told, with an attitude, that they absolutely would not because "they never answer the phone." If you're going to deal with potential new clients that way, you're certainly not making anyone feel welcome. After speaking with THREE different staff members, the consistent attitude was enough for me to cancel before bringing my cat there. The interactions were so unpleasant that I genuinely no longer felt comfortable having my animal treated at this facility. And honestly, that is the part that bothers me the most. If this is how prospective clients are treated over the phone and at the front desk, it makes you wonder what kind of experience you would have once you actually entrust them with your animal. I understand that veterinary offices are busy. I understand that records sometimes don't come through and that staff deal with difficult situations all day. None of that excuses being unnecessarily rude, dismissive, or hostile toward someone who is simply trying to get medical care for their pet. Maybe the actual veterinarians here are wonderful. I'll never know, because the staff interaction was enough to make me take my business elsewhere. I genuinely don't understand all of the overwhelmingly positive reviews after the experience I had. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but three separate unpleasant interactions is more than enough for me. If you're considering this clinic, I would strongly recommend doing your own research and paying attention to how you're treated BEFORE scheduling an appointment. I certainly wish I had. Needless to say, I will not be returning, and I will be taking my cat somewhere that actually makes me feel comfortable placing his care in their hands.

And our newly adopted cats love this place too now. We LOVE Dr. Wilkerson, is one of the best vet the we have come across. He is caring, calm and excellent about explaining things and answering questions. He takes his time going over a treatment plan and does not believe in unnecessary invasive treatments, if it can be avoided.
