This week we bought a gorgeous Crate and Barrel sofa from Second Edition. The whole process was seamless, and everyone who worked there was incredibly helpful. Will helped me decide between several options and made sure that I received the seasonal discount when purchasing; we selected the delivery option and the 2 guys who delivered the sofa were so careful and professional. We'd agonized a little about this purchase: we didn't want to spend thousands on a new sofa, but also didn't want to buy a cheap new one that would likely end up in the landfill in a few years. Marketplace was an option, but then we'd have to figure out delivery, plus not know what we were really buying. At Second Edition, we knew that it has been professionally, deep cleaned, and it ended up being about the same price as the other Crate and Barrel sofas I'd seen on FB. I saw their ad on Facebook and was really impressed with the furniture they listed. I dropped by their store a few days later. Very helpful guy at the store that showed me the furniture and explained their process. I bought 2 pieces of furniture and scheduled delivery. They called about 30 minutes before they arrived. The delivery guys took great care in getting my furniture inside and set where I wanted them A very positive experience throughout the process. read more

What a wonderful experience. I am moving and plan to replace my current sofa. Frankly, I was at loss to figure out what to do. Somehow I discovered Second Edition. So I went over to their warehouse and browsed. Asked how it all worked. He explained it a bit, but told me to go to the website. So when I got home I did. This process is super easy to follow. You can use your camera to take some photos and then submit them. It did not take long to get the email that said they would take it. You schedule when you want it picked up so it works for you. They wrapped it up just like the best movers. Excellent customer service. Alex and Will were absolutely professional. Let me know when they were 30 minutes away. I am so glad I found this place. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to buy furniture or has furniture that they would like to sell. read more

An absolute marvelous business! Unlike other charity pickups, SellBuddy is a full service business from picking up furniture from inside the home, if needed, to carefully moving it via truck to where they warehouse the items. The items are cleaned and advertised for sale. Depending on the sale price you will get some money too! Items need to be in good shape and clean. The two-man crew were friendly and professional! "SellBuddy was direct and upfront throughout the process regarding retrieving our furniture. After sending them photos of which items we were trying to dispose of, they sent me a list of the items that they were able to take. They kept me informed daily regarding the date and time when they would be at the address. The guys were on time, they were courteous and efficient. I would recommend considering SellBuddy before Goodwill, Arc or Habitat. Those other organizations will charge you to pick up larger items. SellBuddy does not. That makes them unique, IMO. read more

Do not trust seller. There's either something fishy about his business or just straight up poor customer service. We exchanged messages in the morning about the sale and then he disappeared all day after I asked what time I could come pick it up. He called in the evening and after I verbally committed again he said he had a storefront and sent me a link to the piece saying I needed to pay for it because they don't hold items. As soon as I clicked on the link the item was sold. It's a poor set up, communication wasn't great and ended up being a waste of time. I wouldn't trust paying for an item to "hold" it without seeing it. See poor reviews on Facebook Marketplace and outside of Facebook as well before committing to buy! read more

Communication was clear and transparent from day one. Shortly after contacting Sell Buddy, I received information from the office about pickup availability for my area and selected a date. The day before, I received a text to verify my date and time window. Joe and Mike called me first thing that morning to provide an estimated arrival time and showed up on time (miracle, right?)! They were friendly and courteous and loaded up our furniture without delay. I received a confirmation email shortly after their visit that our items were logged into Sell Buddy's system. I cannot speak to the sales process, but the guys indicated that most items sell within two weeks and that the office would be in touch to establish our preferred method of payment for our share. So far, so good! We will definitely use them again when we downsize and move next year. read more
